Good day sunshine

It’s morning, am I supposed to be excited? I woke up at 6. I’m sure Crystal was up even earlier. I fell back asleep for mere minutes at a time, until the alarm went off. Before that, I think it was a good sleep, but I can’t be sure. The last hour kinda ruined the whole sleep experience.

I’ll sleep again tonight.

Back to work this fine Tuesday morning. It’s going to be a good day. I will manifest this energy this morning!

Coffee has been brewed. And I think Pippin is trying to get Chaucer to play. She’s been up for a while as well and now she wants to play. I don’t think Chaucer is ever ready to play, but especially first thing in the morning. And I’m pretty sure that Pippin is a morning kitty.

So, repeat after me – it’s gonna be a good day. It’s gonna be a good day!

Some Alabama-jamma, she my Dixieland delight

Good morning all my lovely interweb people. Welcome to another Monday morning. From what I can read over Crystal’s shoulder, she was up early – before sunrise. But technically, technically, and this should make her feel a little better, we got out of bed before sunrise today.

So technically, she slept all the way through the night! It’s not the same as what she’s talking about, but it’s close enough, right?

Coffee has been brewed, and it’s that time of the month where Critical Role is on hiatus for the week, so no new episode today. And that’s ok, it’s Halloween today. All the spooky shit will be happening today. It’s also the day as soon as the sun goes down, I’ll be closing the curtains and if she can find it, maybe we’ll watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

So pull up a couch, and a cup of coffee. Let’s start the day, yo.

We about to climb, wild, ’cause it’s about to go down

Awake! The kitties let us sleep in until 7:44 this morning. Pippin is trying to get Chaucer to play with him. He’s sitting on the purste chest, trying to stay out of her tromp zone. He just wants a lap to snuggle in.

It’s Sunday! Chore day! Crystal has suggested that I don’t do the clothes laundry today, and just to the sheets. And she’d do the clothes on Tuesday. I don’t think I can do that. I can leave the sheets for her, but I’ll do the clothes. Not that I don’t think she can do it, it’s routine, and I need the clothes for Tuesday hahaha

Coffee has brewed, and just like every time I sleep in, I feel behind the eight ball in terms of what I should be doing today. I’ll start the chores shortly, just trying to wake up a little.

The haunted hotel is done for the year, with just the kids show left for this evening, which I think we’ll skip. Maybe even I’ll participate next year. Who knows. I don’t want any type of responsibility. I did like that we could just basically leave when we wanted too. So we’ll see. I had a blast just watching people enter the “big top”, and freak out before entering the haunted hotel actual.

With Pippin snuggling on my lap, I’ll get more coffee and start the chores once she decides to get up, or if I have to pee. Happy Sunday everyone!

Swing your partner round and round – end of the night, it’s going down

I shall pose a question to you: I didn’t poi for almost three hours straight, why oh why, am I stiff and sore? Haha! Crystal was a machine last night. She was up performing for almost three hours straight last night. She fucking killed it!

She also found out that she has another grandmother. I’m sure if you head over to her site, she’ll probably explain it to you.

Even though I just sat and watched, and filmed her, I had a blast. It was very fun listening to all the screams and the laughter.

But the coffee has been brewed, and we have Chaucer between us. Today we’re heading into SlightBiggerTown to get some groceries. Good times!

I just want to say that Crystal looked amazing out there. How many other poi artists have a 3 hour routine? Probably very few.

Happy weekend!

I’m on the way to the promised land

Good morning! Happy Friyay! The kitties let us sleep again, but I was still up around 3 briefly. Pippin made the rounds and snuggled with Crystal for a little while, and then climbed in between us and snuggled me as well. That’s the first time she’s come up into the bed to snuggle.

She’s a good little girl.

But it’s Friyay! It’s the end of the week. It’s supposed to be a sunny day for part of the day. It’s a little breezy out. I hope the wind slowly dies down for Crystal’s performance at the haunted hotel this evening.

We’re up, and the kitties have been fed, and coffee is currently being consumed. I have one shift standing between me and the weekend. We can make it!
