Awake. Well awake again. I’ve been tossy turny this morning. A little too warm I think. And I’m stuffed up, so that didn’t help whilst trying to stay asleep. So here we are. Crystal has been up for about an hour longer than me. She turned on the coffee. She’s awesome.

Day off today. It’s Remembrance Day here. In a few hours I’ll be walking up to Veterans park for the ceremony. Then back to the Flat.

Last night after work, we went to one of the local restaurants. We were greeted, and were asked if we just wanted “our usual”. So we didn’t need to see menus. In a few minutes our food came out. I swear that each week they see how many fries can physically fit on one plate with a burger. If you head over to Crystal’s page you’ll see the amount of fries they gave me. It’s insane, I couldn’t finish.

So everyone out there. Happy Remembrance Day, or Veterans Day, or simply, happy Friyay. I hope all y’all have a good day.

We’ll, hello there my friends. It’s a dark, chilly morning here in TinyTown. The breeze is light, and it looks like it’ll be another cool day out.

The weekend is in sight!

That’s right. I just have to survive today, and then I won’t have to go back to work until Tuesday morning. It’s a mini vacation!

I slept like the dead last night. I woke up to look at the alarm clock around 5 or 5:30, and thought oh god I’m wide awake. I was for about 2 seconds. The next time I woke up was 6:50, then the alarm went off, and here we are.

Saturday, we should be heading to CapitalCity. I’ve been looking forward to this trip for a couple of weeks. We have a large list, and Google Maps travel listing to go to. It should be a fun day. Fun, but a busy day.

The bonus: I can shut the alarm off for tomorrow. That’s a really good thing.

We’ve been enjoying Letterkenny. We’ve seen a lot of clips and funny bits on YouTube, but seeing the same bits with context is even better.

You are my fire the one desire

Good Wednesday morning my friends. It’s getting closer to the end of the week. It’s also good the end of the week is tomorrow for us. I have Pippin on my lap. She’s tracking Chaucer as he wanders around.

I was up at midnight to go to the bathroom, and then crawled back into bed. I was out. As I snuggled in, I’m sure that Crystal at that point was starting to get tossy turny. I have to figure out how to help her stay asleep. I’m at a loss.

So around 6, she got up and started the morning routine. I was awake, and shortly after decided that I wouldn’t be able to stay in bed any longer. I got up.

And here we are. Wednesday morning. 7am. Coffee. My best girl sitting beside me. Hopefully tonight’s sleep will be better. But we can’t lean on what can happen, we just have to wait and see. I think it’ll be better tonight.

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?

Good morning everyone. Happy Tuesday. I slept like the dead last night. I think I even had dreams. They’re fading quickly. At this point, I just know I had them. I’m pretty sure they’re a Law & Order related. We’ve been watching a lot of Law & Order lately.

Coffee has been brewed, cats have been fed. Chaucer is watching a big truck go by, and Pippin is just using me as a jungle gym.

We didn’t do a whole lot yesterday. Around 9ish, I got up and dressed, and walked to the auto parts store to buy some oil for the Hot Mess Express. Got the oil in it, and it cleaned off and warmed up. After that, we just went to the little grocery store to get some staple foods, then came back and I cooked us some brunch.

We just watched tv in the couch and snuggled all afternoon and into the evening.

But today is a new day. Up and at them! Let’s do this!

In the summertime, when the weather is high you can stretch right up and touch the sky

Good morning from north of the wall. It snowed and blowed pretty much all day yesterday. We chose to not leave the house, and we ended up finishing Amazon’s Rings of Power. I enjoyed it. It started off a little slow, but once it found it’s footing, it took right off.

I currently have a tiny little kitten in my lap. Pippin jumped up pretty much as soon as I sat down. She was on my lap for most of the day yesterday. It was nice. I covered her with a blanket so she wouldn’t get cold.

I slept pretty good last night. Pretty much as soon as my head hit the pillow, and after some adjustments, I was out like a light.

We’re sitting and having some coffee. It’s a nice morning so far. There’s just a light wind, but it’s supposed to get windy again, and then it’s supposed to snow more.
