It’s a provincial holiday today. I’m up earlyish, because I have to work the day. I have my coffee, and the news is on.

I was out pretty much as soon as my head hit the pillow. It’s been cooler around here so we were under all the blankets last night. Oooh the weighted blanket. I was out until the alarm went off.

It was a lot cooler out there yesterday, we were way below the forecast. I actually wore a hoodie all day, and I’ll probably wear one most of the day today. It just looks cool out there today. Yeah, it’s overcast out.

So yeah, let’s enjoy some coffee this chilly morning, and mentally prepare for a nice hot shower in a few, shall we?

Good morning, my friends. We’re both up. It looks like it rained sometime in the night. That means I might not be mowing the lawn this afternoon. But, we’ll see.

I tried and slightly succeeded in sleeping in just a little bit. Just a little though. I think we I got up around 7:30. I’m sure that Crystal slept until either 5 or 6. And scrolled until I woke up and got up.

Not too much planned for today. I did the laundry yesterday, so it’s just the easy chores to do today. So that’s a good thing. Tomorrow is a holiday, but I’ll be working it. I think I’m working all next weekend, so that’s exciting.

Time for more coffee. Let’s have a nice relaxing day. Happy Sunday everyone.

Good afternoon party people! It is I.

I had to work the opening shift this morning. Lemme tell you, first actual customer – about 3 hours after we opened. A whole lotta sitting around. I got home about an hour ago, and just started this post now. I had saved just over 70 YouTube shorts to show Crystal.

I don’t have a lot to talk about. It’s a lot harder in the middle of the day. So I’ll just say, yep home from work. Watching Crystal play some Skyrim. Can you figure out which character she plays?

Might do laundry while she plays. Less to do tomorrow. I’ll be mowing my parent’s lawn tomorrow afternoon. Can’t forget the allergy pills.

A wild day off appears. Thank god. It just seemed like a long week, even though the days seemed to go rather quickly. The week seemed to move very slow.

I think I slept ok last night. Just groggy this morning, with a slight headache. But that’s ok, that’ll fade as the allergy meds kick in. Man, I love summer, but I really like winter because, I can breathe normally. My head is like soup. A thick soup. Maybe even jam. Without the seeds.

I don’t think we have too much planned for today. It’s date night tonight. So we have that. I’ll have to check the Olympic schedule for today. Maybe there will be some good events.

Other than that life is really good. Sometimes it sounds like I’m whining, I’m really not. It’s pretty good here. I’m happy. I have my beautiful one, and two lovely kitties. We have food, water, shelter. Life is good.

Life is even better when you have a full cup of coffee 🙂

I don’t care that you’re a stoner red wine supernova, fall right into me

It’s so close to the weekend, I can taste it. I’ve been closing most of the week. It’s not too bad. It’s busier than the morning shift, but other than that, it’s pretty much the same, just in reverse.

We’re up, mostly dressed, partially caffeinated, and almost awake. I’ve been wearing a makeshift mask at night, as the fan kind of annoys whichever ear is up. It’s taken a little getting used to, but it’s really nice. I’ll have to look for an actual mask, as I’m just using a buff that was bought during the Pandemic.

Been catching what I can from the Olympics. I’ve been enjoying being a sports fan for a couple of weeks. I like cheering for Canada, and the US, and all other countries that I enjoy. It’s fun to watch all sorts of different sports that I normally wouldn’t watch.

It’s the town wide festival this weekend. I’m having reservations about going. I mean I want to go and to go to the small concert Saturday evening. But it is rather expensive. On the other hand, fuck all happens in this town, except for this once a year festival. It would be like, $75 for both of us to go to the fun stuff in the afternoon, and the concert at night. That doesn’t include any drinks. I’ll talk with Crystal today or tomorrow to see what she would like to do. I’m flip flopping on it. One moment I want to go and have a yum lunch, and pet farm animals, and on the other hand, I have to pay to get in, pay to eat, and we’re back home in about 20-30 minutes, until it’s time for the concert.

We’ll see.
