Everything is bleak it’s the middle of the night

Well, it is snowing out there. It hasn’t really accumulated too much around the flat, because the wind has never died down. I’m monitoring it, cause I’ll be trekking up to Shady Acres a couple of times today. Once, probably around noon, and then probably later in the day just to clean up what’s accumulated. My dad has a medical appointment on Tuesday, so he needs to have the driveway cleaned, so he can make it to the truck.

Since I’m supposed to be pushing a lot of snow, I decided to do the laundry yesterday. You know, one less chore today, because of the added snow shovelling chore today.

So it’s just the small chores to do this morning. Most importantly, there’s brunch to be made today. And we have to make waffles as well. So it’ll still be a busy morning. But an easy, busy morning.

But the snow is falling. And the wind is blowing. I think it’s going to be a cozy day, aside from the snow shovelling. We’ll be screwed if the wind decides to just stop, but for now, for the most part, Mother Nature is shovelling most of it. I can’t wait to see the snow drifts at work tomorrow. Hopefully the plow comes through a couple times today, and through the night. But we’ll see.

I need another cup of covfefe. But I have a tiny cat on me. Well, she’ll have to get up, and I think that she’s ok with that.

Our cheeks are nice and rosy and comfy and cozy are we (ring-a-ling-a ding-dong-ding!)

So, good morning. It’s about that time again, isn’t it. It’s dark, and like the weather app said, it snowed overnight. I shoveled the linai, and it was big fluffy snow, which is really nice. It’s light, and easy to shovel. I could hear the sounds of the plows moving around, so that’s a good thing.

Not to sound like a broken record, but I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow. At 2:30, I woke up and needed to use the bathroom. My head was in a weird position, so it was very stiff. I hobbled to the bathroom, did my business, and crawled into bed.

I felt/heard Chaucer jump down off the bed, where he proceeded to sing the song of his people. He stopped that very quickly (some say too quickly), and then started to play with a rattle toy!! Thankfully, he either played for only a few seconds, or I fell asleep and he played for a few minutes.

I guess we’ll never know the true answer.

But we’re awake, and we have coffee. So let’s slowly get the day started. The weekend is almost here!

Oh, the weather outside is frightful

Yep, it snowed yesterday, and it stuck. According to one of my weather apps, it’s not supposed to snow today. That’s a good thing, as our sale starts today. We need a good group to come through, to put BossLadys mind at ease.

I slept ok yesterday. While I was up about five minutes before the alarm went off, Crystal on the other hand, has been up for at least 3 hours. That makes me sad, because I can’t fix that. She deserves some awesome sleeps. Instead, she’s up when it’s still dark out.

It was a busy day at work. Just scrambling to finish everything up and prepare for today. I think we’re pretty much ready for whatever is thrown at us. Either way the sale starts today.

I don’t have too much else. Let’s greet the day, and kick it right in the dick hole. Happy Thursday, the weekend is almost here. Let’s hope it comes quickly!

Jesus, I need more coffee.

He was a boy, she was a girl. Can I make it any more obvious?

Good morning my snowy friends. It’s been blowing and snowing pretty much the whole night. It doesn’t look like a lot fell in the night. I know a lot has. It’s the wind, it’s drifting all over the place. It’ll be fun to shovel later. The Poi Pit has completely disappeared. There’s still about 12 hours of the storm to go through.

BossLady is on vacation. And she was asking for updates yesterday. I explained what was going on and how much we were expected. I had been planning on showing up to work this morning, but also planned on if the boss wanted the store closed.

Notice was put.

So we went out for dinner last night. The night cook asked if we wanted the “usual”. I said know and told her what my mom said. When we were over last Sunday. Mom was saying how the night cook told her that she liked it when they come because they always order something different, unlike me, who just orders the same thing every week.

I told her this and told her I want a menu, and I demand satisfaction. We all laughed, and I ordered something completely different for my usual. It was very good. She’s an excellent cook, and once again, we totally enjoyed our time there. The food was excellent.

After dinner we came home, and I fired up the Switch, changed users and hopped into my account to play some Breath of the Wild. I didn’t really have a plan, but Crystal wanted to help get me a tower and a shrine. I always happen to find myself exploring, in the dark, and some of the times under a blood moon. Hey, it’s to keep it exciting.

After that tower and the shrine, I wanted to explore a little more. I wandered around and found myself in the Lost Woods. I got lost once or twice, then BOOM! Master Sword. Long story short, I couldn’t raise it. I need more heart containers. But I know where it is. I got one or two shrines after that, and called it a night.

I’m getting there. Slowly but surely.

Maybe we’ll play today.

Because, we’re not going anywhere today.

Because of the snow.

This is a post about the snow, remember? 😜

When friends come to call it’s the hap-happiest season of all

That’s right. It snowed this morning. Just under 2.5 inches of the white stuff, and I’m not talking cocaine. I am literally really getting tired of the snow. And winter.

But here we are.

Crystal isn’t feeling well this morning. She’s declined coffee and is dozing on the couch next to me. I hope she gets feeling better soon.

I don’t have a lot to talk about this morning. I did play a few hours of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I really like it. It’s the first Zelda game that I’ve really been able to get into.

I’m going to take care of Crystal. I loves her so much. We’ll get her 100% as soon as possible.
