I recommend walkin’ around naked in your living room

Good morning motherfuckers! Welcome to Sunday! According to the news, it’s a somber day this morning. The news switched over from their typical feel-good Sunday scheduling, and now it’s the 9/11 commemoration ceremonies. Pres. Biden is making a speech from the Pentagon.

Me? I’m dealing with some allergies, and possibly mixed in with the allergies, maybe just a small head cold as well. Just working up the energy to start chore day. Along with chores, I have to move a couple pieces of furniture in the bedroom around. Pippin has finally figured out how to get behind the door, and like to play there around 11:30/midnight. That’s not conducive to a nice sleep for me. So I’ll do my best to fix it.

It’s a brisk, but sunny morning here. It should be warming up to a high of about 79° today. That definitely beats the high of 65 or so yesterday. But, not a cloud in the sky here so far.

But, of course, before all that can happen – I needs me some more coffee.

Take a chance, roll the dice

On Tuesday, September the 6th, I finished Campaign 2 of Critical Role – The Mighty Nein. To be honest, I didn’t think that I would finish it. I usually start lots of shows, but I rarely finish any of them. Especially new shows I’ve never seen before. I’ll always go back to shows that I’ve seen before. This one was different. This was a journey. There were MANY times that I burst into tears. There were MANY times that there was spontaneous laughter as well.

A bunch of nerdy ass voice actors who sit around and play Dungeons & Dragons. That doesn’t even begin to begin to describe the characters they play. They are living and breathing characters.

It made me laugh out loud, cry like a baby at times, all the emotions in between.

500 hours, 56 minutes, and approximately 24 seconds start to finish. I finished the campaign in about 9 months. I think that’s about the longest I’ve stuck with a single “tv show”.

Thanks for the great ride, Critical Role.

Is it Thursday yet?

She had dumps like a truck, truck, truck – thighs like what, what, what

Good morning y’all. It’s a bright and sunny day out. There’s no wind, so it feels warmer – it’s currently 42° out there slowly rising to a high of a balmy 65°.

I don’t have anything planned for the day, so I might not even get dressed today. How novel, huh?

I woke up and turned on expecting Dateline, and was mildly surprised that they are doing a pretty nice in-depth bio of Queen Elizabeth. It’s very interesting.

Pippin is sleeping on the chair, after spending the night curled up as close as possible to me.

But let’s grab some more coffee, and figure out what I want to accomplish today. Happy Saturday!

God save our gracious King!

It’s bright and sunny outside, but it’s chilly. I slept like the dead last night. It was the first time in a while that I climbed under all the blankets. I forgot how much the blankets slide. It was a good sleep. I only got up a couple of times.

It was nice and toasty though, so I wasn’t cold.

It was a long day yesterday. Long drive up, then waiting in the doctors office, then a really quick trip to Walmart. Then the long drive back.

But it wasn’t a bad day at all. Just long. Thankfully I just have to deal with work today, and then I’m off for the weekend. Then I can recharge.

But first, coffee. Happy Friyay everyone!

Come my lady, come-come my lady

Good morning everyone. I’m up before the sun, because I have my 3 week eye appointment in CapitalCity. The appointment is for noon, but I’m hopeful if I get there a little early, there’s a chance that I might, maybe get in a little early.

It’s a hope.

But the coffee is brewing, and an allergy pill has already been taken. And I wake up this morning with the news that the Queen is in the hospital. All I could think of is – this is it. This is her endgame. The end is nigh.

Ok, I need to consume coffee and wake up. Happy Thursday y’all.
