He said will you defeat them – your demons and all the non-believers

Good morning, hap hap happy Monday y’all! We lived through the weekend again!

I don’t really have a lot to say this morning. I’m up early, yes. Because if I don’t, I have no time to quietly wake up and then it’s just bad all around. So I got up a little early. That way I’m not in the way as people are trying to get up and to their morning routines.

So yeah, my coffee is just about brewed, and I’m up and dressed – I didn’t even forget my mask. I’m already wearing it. I’ll remind everyone once they’re up.

My mom last night, said we’d make time for me at a book store. That’s what I’m excited about. So some running around for them, and a book store for me.

Ok, coffee is done and I have to head over to the bathroom. Have a super Monday everyone!!

And stumbled downstairs to meet the day

Good morning everyone! And by everyone I mean the 1 or 2 people that actually stop scrolling long enough to read this. How’re you doing this fine dark Sunday morning? It snowed here a little last night. Maybe a half an inch. I can’t really tell. I’ll shovel later.

Coffee is brewing, and I’m dressed. I have to do my laundry today, as the plan tomorrow is to go to BigCity. I have a couple of things on my mental list to get. I should probably write them down. Of course the last time I wrote stuff down, I neglected to actually look at the the list, and stuff forgot things.

All right in the world for a couple of minutes – have a fresh cup of coffee sitting in front of me.

So anyways. Have a great Sunday everyone. Enjoy grocery shopping, or whatever else you have planned. Enjoy the day!

Well I hear you in the morning – and I hear you at nightfall

Good morning everyone! Who has two thumbs, and forgot to shut off his alarm? This guy right here! Up as if I was going into work today. So the coffee is brewing, and I’m up, and dressed. I’m ready to greet the day.

It’s Boxing Day today. The day the rich people give their servants boxes of left over food and gifts I believe. It’s weird. I’ve always kind of explained it like this is Canada’s version of Black Friday. However things have changed since I’ve been gone, and Canada does the whole Black Friday thing now.

Anyways, I hope everyone had a good Friyay. Here at Shady Acres, it was pretty ok. I got a couple shirts, a toque, sheets for the bed, and a toque. No books! I was very surprised. Monday, we’re supposed to be heading into BiggerTown. I’m going to lobby to go into BigCity. For one simple thing:

I want 30 minutes of unfettered access to a book store. Yes, 30 minutes. Not too long, not too short. Just enough to choose one or two books that have been on my list for a while. Then we can do anything they want. That’s all I’m going to ask for.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

But right now, coffee. There’s a Christmas movie on TV, but I’m not really paying attention to it. Justice League is up next. Then Wonder Woman. The funny thing? I bought my dad Avengers: Endgame, thinking he’d seen Infinity War. He hadn’t. So when we go into BiggerTown, or BigCity, I’m going to get it for him. He’s never seen Thor’s entrance to Wakonda. Blows my mind!

I have no idea what’s going on today. But for now, shhh, let Shady Acres sleep. Happy Saturday y’all.

Another year over, and a new one just begun

Good morning. It’s Friyay! We made it again. Also, Merry Christmas. I hope everyone got to sleep in a little. Not me, because I forgot to shut off my alarm! It went off as if I had to work today. So here I am 7:13, wide awake, waiting for coffee.

So yeah. Happy birthday Jesus.

I think in an attempt to help me feel better, my dad went downstairs and found the National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. It was a movie that we’d watch every Christmas. It didn’t disappoint. Still just as funny as ever. So it did help.

Mom must have gotten up in the night. And moved the tree out of the shower and plugged it in.

So right now, I have coffee. I’m letting Shady Acres sleep. I do however, hear my mom moving around. So the bustle starts.

Happy Friyay all.

You gave your presents to me – and I gave mine to you

It’s Christmas Eve. There’s only one place that I want to be. If Christmas wishes are real, they haven’t been working for me yet. It’s a short day at work today. So I won’t be taking a lunch today.

These next two days are gonna suck. I’m trying to stay positive. I’m very excited for Crystal’s amazing dinners the next couple of days; Chinese food, and then Indian food on Christmas Day. It’s gonna be very yummy food for her.

I did ask her over the next two days, if she could, watch the greatest Christmas movie of all time: Die Hard. So hopefully she can watch it.

Other than that, nothing much is going on these days. I hope I can get in some reading over the next couple of days. I have the weekend off, but back to work next week – the bonus is the shop isn’t open until January 6th. Lots of cleaning and rearranging of the shop, and cleaning of the warehouse and getting everything organized the kicker; the warehouse isn’t heated.

Ok time to watch some news and sip some coffee. I don’t have a quiet morning to wake up here. My mom has sung to the cats at least 3 times already. She doesn’t have an “indoor” voice. And isn’t a good singer.

Well happy holidays y’all. Hug your loved ones. I wish I could hug mine. I love you Crystal.
