Six o’clock already I was just in the middle of a dream

Awake! The sun is rising, and it feels chilly outside. It’s not too bad out there, but looking at the weather app, and also realizing it’s Monday, and they’re calling for snow on Saturday, I don’t think it’ll happen the way they say it will. Currently there’s a forecast of 98mm of snow on next Saturday. That’s according to google is about 3.85in.

I’ll believe it, when I’m shovelling it.

But let’s just keep our thoughts on this week. It’s supposed to be colder this week than last week. NewNewGirl didn’t want to move furniture last week, and said she’d rather move the furniture when it’s a little colder this week. I don’t know why, but ok.

It’s Monday morning, and the coffee has been brewed. We’re up, and watching the news. Chaucer is in between us. And Pippin, well, she’s doing Pippin things somewhere.

Brunch is in a few hours. You’d better hurry if you want some! Happy Monday, my friends.

Good morning, happy Sunday everyone! We’re in the middle of the weekend, and it’s an exciting day today. Yep, that’s right. Y’all guessed correctly. It’s Chore Day! It’s time for cleaning, and dusting, and general renewal of the Flat. We’ll be starting that in a few hours. Who’s excited about cleaning? I am!

Yesterday, while I was getting some BotW, I got a phone call from my dad, saying that there were some cows birthing, and to be ready in about a half hour. About a half hoursish later, we were in the way to a farm. Within minutes of arriving, we’re standing around a brand new baby cow. They so cute! I had no idea that when they came out, they’re like 140lbs.

Wow!

After wandering around the farm. We took off for SlightlyBiggerTown for groceries, and weed. We stopped and grabbed some lunch, then went shopping. Both Crystal and I forgot about grabbing her ID to get into the weed store, so I went in solo to pick up some carts for our vapes, and a big bag o’ weed. After that, we hit the road back home.

We pretty much took turns playing BotW, until mid evening. It’s such a cool game, and I get overwhelmed in it pretty easy. I have to start a session with one or two objectives in my mind to what I want to do in it. I have a couple things I want to take care of this today when I play. It’s fun! It’s a really cool game.

Is Saturyay a thing? It goddamn should be! Happy Saturday everyone, we made it! The weekend my friends. Woohoo!! The weekend has never tasted so good. Oh, that’s the coffee. I don’t know why but Saturday coffee tastes the best out of the whole week.

I slept like the dead last night, into this morning. The bed was a really good temperature when I finally woke up. Crystal and I snuggled for a few minutes before we slowly rolled out of bed.

Not too much on deck for today. In a few hours we’ll be heading to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries, and a few other things. Should be a quick in and out. I have to make a quick list of the basics that we need.

But for right now, we’re just hanging out in the couch waking up. Let’s all have a good Saturday, and all that great stuff. But first, covfefe. Let’s roll!

You know you wouldn’t want it any other way

Well, it’s not Friyay, unless you hear the sounds of a cat race in the bathroom. And when I say rave, I mean the big guy, Chaucer, throwing up. Happy Friyay! It’s almost the weekend!

It looks as if the weather is starting to change again, at least for this and next week. It’s warmish out there, and the sun is coming up. It’s just a little windy. It’s still below 0, but the temps right now, we’re in single negative temps. I wouldn’t say spring is coming, but it is starting to get a little milder.

That’s a good thing.

It’s still a little breezy. But that’s ok, if it’s warmer out there.

Coffee is flowing, and the news is on. It was pretty crazy – true crime wise last night. The verdict came in, in the Murdaugh murder trial. The rumour is that the clerk asked the jury if they wanted to order dinner, and the jury foreperson replied back with “we won’t be needing dinner, we have the verdict, we’ll be ready in 10 minutes.”

Crazy. Murdaugh was convicted on all four charges. Guilty on all charges. This morning is the sentencing hearing. Hopefully I’ll hear most of it before I get into work.

What’s the next trial we’re going to be watching? I don’t know yet. All I know is hopefully it’ll be on Law & Crime. I need GiGi and Annejenette guiding me through the crime. Crystal and I pretty much have their backstories already written. I don’t know if I could do that again!

When I pull out up front, you see the Benz on dubs

It’s getting so freaking close to the weekend. Two more shifts to go. Can I survive? Possibly. Yesterday was a long day. I think it might be a little better today NewNewGirl is in today, and that adds a little bit of a buffer.

Yesterday was a wicked busy day, as I tried to make sense of a couple problems, one of which I caused. I think I got everything worked out. But I’ll ultimately find out when I get in this morning.

I came home after work with a frozen pizza. It was a ‘Canadian’. Pepperoni, bacon, and mushrooms. Usually I’ll pick off the mushrooms and put them on Crystal’s side of the pizza. This one had every topping still in place, and a pretty good spread across the pizza. With a tonne of mushrooms. There were too many to pick off, so I bit the bullet and didn’t clear my side.

I ATE A TONNE OF FUNGIS.

Spoiler alert: I survived.
