Taken roughly at the same time, 24 hours apart.

Good morning my snowy friends. It’s been blowing and snowing pretty much the whole night. It doesn’t look like a lot fell in the night. I know a lot has. It’s the wind, it’s drifting all over the place. It’ll be fun to shovel later. The Poi Pit has completely disappeared. There’s still about 12 hours of the storm to go through.

BossLady is on vacation. And she was asking for updates yesterday. I explained what was going on and how much we were expected. I had been planning on showing up to work this morning, but also planned on if the boss wanted the store closed.

Notice was put.

So we went out for dinner last night. The night cook asked if we wanted the “usual”. I said know and told her what my mom said. When we were over last Sunday. Mom was saying how the night cook told her that she liked it when they come because they always order something different, unlike me, who just orders the same thing every week.

I told her this and told her I want a menu, and I demand satisfaction. We all laughed, and I ordered something completely different for my usual. It was very good. She’s an excellent cook, and once again, we totally enjoyed our time there. The food was excellent.

After dinner we came home, and I fired up the Switch, changed users and hopped into my account to play some Breath of the Wild. I didn’t really have a plan, but Crystal wanted to help get me a tower and a shrine. I always happen to find myself exploring, in the dark, and some of the times under a blood moon. Hey, it’s to keep it exciting.

After that tower and the shrine, I wanted to explore a little more. I wandered around and found myself in the Lost Woods. I got lost once or twice, then BOOM! Master Sword. Long story short, I couldn’t raise it. I need more heart containers. But I know where it is. I got one or two shrines after that, and called it a night.

I’m getting there. Slowly but surely.

Maybe we’ll play today.

Because, we’re not going anywhere today.

Because of the snow.

Yes, we’re expecting snow. Just under a foot. It’s been going up and down over the last couple of days. It’s been going up and down over the last couple of hours as well. But pretty close to a foot. We’ll see how much we actually get.

Good morning my friends. It’s the day we’re always waiting for – FRIYAY! So far the plan is to still go out for date night. The night cook made a comment to my parents the last time they were there, saying how much she loves it when my parents come in because they always order something different. So I’ll be demanding a menu when I come in.

I’ll order something different tonight.

I just have to make it though work for the day. I’ll deal with tomorrow, tomorrow.

It’s snowing.

It’s not supposed to be snowing right now.

It’s not in the forecast.

According to the forecast, the snow should be starting Friday night, then all day Saturday. All day.

Good morning my friends, I hope the start of your Thursday is as good as it can be, considering it’s almost the weekend. I slept like the dead until about 3:30. I woke up, and did my thing in the bathroom, and curled up and fell back asleep. I was a little tossy turny, but I managed to fall back asleep until the alarm went off.

We’ll have to circle back with the other employees to see if we want to put out the summer stuff out on to the deck. I mean we probably will, but this is bullshit with the snow coming.

I played a few hours straight of BotW yesterday. I got another tower, and a couple of shrines. I also wandered into a new village. I really like the game, and really hate the game at the same time. I have to try and come up with a plan before I start playing, or it’s really overwhelming and then I don’t know what to do. But for right now, I’m having a blast.

Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy

Good morning, my friends. It’s Wednesday morning, and I just shovelled enough snow, not to call it a dusting. Half inch maybe. It feels like the snow will never disappear.

In fact, according to my weather app, it’s supposed to snow on Saturday. It’s supposed to snow about 24🦫 or about 9.4🦅 . Yay. I can’t wait for more snow.

I spent a couple of hours at work yesterday morning. Cleaning up some emails and returning a call from a sales rep. Then I went home. I made some lunch for us, then we played some BotW for a while until the second hand store opened.

I bought a couple of new sweaters, more choice Crystal says. I guess I just rotate a couple of my more favourite ones. I have a really really comfy black thick sweater. I likes it.

After the second hand store, we came back and pretty much played BotW until it was just about time to go to bed. We watched some TikTok, and then I pretty much crashed. This has been such a relaxing weekend I just passed out.

Until 4:42am. Then I mostly dozed and lightly slept. My face is all stuffed up so I was breathing through my mouth. And I was cold. But I managed to fall back asleep until the alarm went off.

Here we are!

Good morning my friends. It’s a gray, chilly day out there. I slept like the freakin dead last night. I think this was the first night that, I slept all the way through. The alarm didn’t scare me, but felt like it had been on for a while.

We’re all awake now. Pippin once again has taken over the cube, and Chaucer doesn’t really know where to sit. He just sits on the footrest and stares at us. Poor guy.

Back to work for a couple of hours today. BossLady told us before she went on vacation that I didn’t have to stay the whole day. Because we’re not open, and Tuesday’s are pretty much slow and dead. Even more so when everyone knows when she’s away.

So I’ll go in for a couple of hours just to make sure that everything is running smooth, and then I’ll come back to the Flat, and we’ll hang out. This afternoon we’ll pop over to the second hand store.

All day we took turns playing BotW. We both explored and found new areas. Last week, we both bought a house, and I outfitted it with everything I could – to finish that side quest. It’s neat. And a cool place to end each session.
