I wake up in the morning, with the alarm clocks warning, I don’t think I’ll ever make it on time. – Saved by the Bell.

Good morning happy Tuesday! Let’s get jiggy with it. I believe I had a pretty good sleep last night. And while I’d love just one more day off, I don’t have one, so in a few hours, I’ll be heading off to work.

The last five days have been really nice. I’m settled in The Flat, and have a couple of meals under my belt. I still remember how to do it.

Ok, I’m gonna go. I’m still trying to find news on these free streaming apps. Happy Tuesday!

Book club – Plain Bad Heroines

Good afternoon, book nerds! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Life had me busy for a little while. Well, life has slowed down a little, so I am able to read a little more.

I made some progress on Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth. Not a lot, but I’m getting back into the swing of things, and that makes me happy.

We’re really getting into the meat and potatoes of the story. It’s been a slow burn, but the chapters are starting to feel like they’re flying by.

In the book, they’re starting to film on location and the school. They’re starting to find that somethings are getting creepier, and not explainable.

I’m still in joying the dual timelines. Although, I am liking the current time line the best, as that’s the one that seems to be moving the plot forward.

So they all come and dance beside me

Good morning! I’m up, showered, dressed, and I have a cup of coffee sitting in front of me. My little experiment has worked the last couple of days – my phone stays out in the living room. The volume is loud enough to wake me up. That’s a good thing, I don’t need to go and get another charger.

My grammas birthday went well. I got there about 4:30, and I cleaned the stove for my dad, as he was out working yesterday. We had a really good meal of turkey, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. I left sleepy, and very full. I also left with leftovers 🙂

Today, I have to do laundry. Yay laundry! I like doing laundry. It’s very easy. I should only have one load. Other than that, I don’t need to clean, because I’ve only been here 5 days, and it’s still clean in here. Toaster comes out on Saturday mornings. He cleaned a couple of days ago, when I was in BiggerTown.

But, it’s back to work tomorrow. I’m ready. I’ve enjoyed these 5 days off, but now it’s time to jump on the let’s do something, that I’ll get paid for. I’m ready to go back.

But right now, coffee, and some news. Happy Monday y’all!

April Book Haul

Well, hello fellow book nerds! How’s everyone doing on this fine Sunday? Me, well I’m doing just fine. I went to BiggerTown yesterday, and stopped at Value Village. I looked around their housewares section, and then I popped over to their (by local second hand stores) huge book area.

I managed to find more Stephen King books (which Crystal says I have to start reading), and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. My Twilight collection is almost complete!

Once I got home, and started to organize the books, I found that I now have 2 copies of The Dead Zone. Ugh! I’ll have to take that to the second hand store later. And I’ll have to make a note of what books I already have.

But for now, I’m doing good in The Flat. Have a great Sunday, book nerds!

I cut my long baby hair

Good morning, happy Jesus day everyone! I’m up, dressed, and coffee is brewed. Today, I’ll be going over to Shady Acres for my grammas birthday. I believe she’ll be 89. I think my mom is making a turkey, and I’m pretty sure there will be some sort of cake. While I was in BiggerTown, I got a card, and a gift for my gramma.

But I have a few hours to go before going over there. I still have to run to the gas station to fill up the truck. My mom and I take turns filling the truck.

It’s a bright and sunny day. Just slightly below freezing, but it’ll warm up. Just about all the snow is finally melted.

So have a really good day. Prepare the cave if she tries to put marshmallows on your sweet potatoes. It’s gonna be a good day, to have a good day!
