Good morning everyone. It’s a gray start to the day here, but according to my weather app, it should be getting sunny – according to the weather app, it should be sunny right now. So we’ll see if it gets sunny shortly.

In some good news, I have little tiny peppers growing! That pretty cool, I think! In a couple of weeks, I’ll have peppers! Woohoo!

Coffee is brewing and I can’t wait for it. I think I slept all the way through without having to get up. That’s a first in a couple of weeks. I did wake up once rolling over, expecting my arm to hurt, but it didn’t really hurt when I raised it up. It’s just a little sore this morning.

Coffee is ready, so I’ll be getting some. Happy Saturday everyone. Have a great day.

I hurt. All over. It was a good sleep, but a hard sleep. I got my shot in my right arm, because I’m left handed, but what I always forget about is that I sleep on my right side.

So, yeah.

A tossy turny sleep for sure. I just feel drained and weak this morning. That’ll pass, thankfully. One more shift, and I can relax.

I don’t know if I’ll head over to Shady Acres for dinner tonight. I’ll make that decision around 3 today.

But right now, it’s coffee time. Happy Friday everyone. Let’s get through today, and get to the weekend.

Good morning everyone. Today is the day – my second shot. I’m taking the afternoon off work, because I’ve heard that the second shot absolutely kicks your ass. Im not looking forward to that at all. But I’ll get a sticker, possibly 2.

Coffee is brewing, and other than the shot, I’m looking forward to the afternoon off. That’ll be nice, I’ll find something to watch, and just relax.

Ok I’m going to cut this short, as I’m still trying to wake up and my coffee is ready. Happy Thursday everyone. Be safe, Miami.

I’ve been up, well not really up, but clock watching for about an hour. Mostly just a light sleep. It was a good sleep – just warm.

Speaking of warm, it’s almost 20 outside , I think it’s gonna be a hot one today. That’s fine with me! I’d rather have it hot, then cold and rainy.

I stopped watching tv last night at 8, so I could read. I want to finish Orange is the New Black so I can start my new book. I’m about half way through it. It’s a fast read.

But coffee is ready, and nature is calling. So Ima gonna go. Happy Wednesday y’all!

Birthday month book haul!

What’s up, book nerds?!

So yesterday, I’m sitting at home – as one does on a day off, and I hit refresh on the 4 packages that I’m tracking from the beautiful Crystal. After the page refreshes, it says I have a package at the post office. It’s noon, and TinyTown shuts down from 12-1 everyday. I’m serious, an air raid siren actually goes off every day at noon.

So I wait an hour to go and get my package. I know what’s in it. I remembered a couple of nights ago that it’s ponies – custom My Little Ponies, and some DVDs. No biggie. I walk over and get the slip out of my PO Box. But there’s two tags on it, meaning that I have two parcels.

TWO PARCELS!

I get the box of ponies, and there’s another. I don’t look at it. It’s an international package, that means that there’s a customs sticker on it saying what’s in the envelope. It sits upside down on my kitchen table for 9 hours. 9 HOURS. I won’t open a birthday present without Crystal watching on Duo.

I open it, and it’s a book! It looks very cool, and Crystal says that it was suggested – if you liked House of Leaves, you’ll love Bats of the Republic.

I can’t wait to start reading this! It looks strange and different, and has a ribbon bookmark!
