Lockup Library – general updates Shawshank, February 7, 2021 Hey book nerds! This is just a quick note, a “State of the Union” so to speak (so please hold your applause til the end), of what’s going on over here at the Lockup Library. I’ve been slacking, but reading a lot more, so I have to get back into it. I assume most every book blogger out there schedules posts. They rarely talk about it, but they do. I’m going to talk about some posts that’ll be coming up in the near future. There’s going to be some fun stuff coming up. I’m excited to share that sometime this week, or next we’re going to have a guest blogger – Crystal from chicky dot blog will be stopping in to talk about crafting with books. I’m going to be doing a 3 part miniseries of the books I’ve read since last June. I didn’t want to shove all the books I’ve read into one post, so it’ll be a three parter. I’m going to schedule a couple of Book Club books, that way if there’s any lurkers out there that want to participate, but don’t want to comment, they can still go out and get the books and follow along. I’m gonna put out a quick list of 3 or 4 books I want to reread, no time frame for the actual rereads, just some books I want to reread. I still have one book to put up a book haul. The last time I went into BiggerTown, I only got one book. While disappointing, I still walked out with one book. Then maybe a meme or two. That’s all for now, keep on reading you beautiful book nerds! Lockup Library blogbloggerbookbook bloggerbook loverbook questionsbooksjournalreadingtalking about books

Let’s just say that this book pretty much just shares the name with the tv show. It’s a 295 page book, that some how got stretched into a 7 season tv show. How they did that,… Read More
Lockup Library I don’t want to be buried in a pet cemetery August 26, 2020August 26, 2020 In an effort to prolong this glorious read, I labeled all the inserts and pulled them out of the book. Then, I did what I’ve been known for (in order to prolong House of Leaves, I re-read it 4 or 5 times before I finished it); I started Ship of Theseus all over again. Read More
Lockup Library 5 more bookish questions December 9, 2020November 28, 2020 Just scrolling around in the discover feature in the Wordpress app, I can usually cobble some pretty interesting questions. Usually enough to fill a post up. What’s your comfort book? It’s been a long time, but I remember really enjoying Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. It’s a story as old as time. Married woman travels back… Read More
