Too many cooks are gonna spoil the stew there ain’t nobody cooking but me and you

Hey motherphuckers, I just wanted to drop this quick note. I overheard my mom talking to my uncle last night as they were doing dishes –

You see, Crystal is more of a cook by feel. Whatever looks and tastes good, is how she cooks.”

“Eddie follows the directions – he measures everything exactly.”

Not today. Get this:

I was making hashbrowns for brunch today. Randomly putting some spices in. Then on the spur of the moment scrambled the eggs, and threw them in with the hashbrowns.

Pretty crazy huh?

But wait. Wait, there’s more.

I

Added

Cheese.

That’s right people, I put something that I never put into hashbrowns.

Boom. Mike drop.

I’ll make you mine, you know I’ll take you to the top I’ll drive you crazy

Good morning my friends. I was up a little early today. I tried to roll over, and was introduced to something that hasn’t happened in a while – my knee decided to lock up. So gingerly, I got out of bed and walk/limped to the bathroom. By the time I sat down, it was fine so I just got up and turned (turnt) on the coffee.

So let’s greet the day, shall we?

My aunt and uncle are heading back from whence they came this morning. It was great to see them again. I haven’t seen my uncle since we came up years ago for Christmas.

And they can say it was a good trip, Saturday, I took them to the weed store. It was their first time ever in a legal store. I bought my vape cart, and they ended up getting a basic vape and cart as well!

Today, I don’t plan on leaving the flat. There’s no place that I need to be or to go. I think I’ll have to leave once, just to return my moms truck. I think that I’ll probably do that while Shady Acres is down for their afternoon nap.

But right now, I’m just waking up, and doing my normal morning wake up routine. Coffee for everyone!

A pair of Hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots is the wish of Barney and Ben

It’s looking a lot like Christmas out there. It’s lightly snowing again, and is supposed to snow for the rest of the day. But it’s not Christmas time, it’s Easter. How will the Easter bunny find my place and drop off chocolate for me?

Spoiler alert: he didn’t find me. No chocolate for me today. Just coffee. Which is very yummy today. Soon I’ll start the laundry, and get out there and shovel the walk.

But since it’s Easter, I’ll be heading up to Shady Acres, probably a little earlier than normal, I have to help make homemade pasta. My aunt has requested help so she can bring some home with her.

But before all that, I have chores to do.

CHORES DAY

Happy Easter Sunday everyone!

I’ll tell you a story about the Lake fever or we can skip to the coital fury

Good morning party people! It feels like it’s Sunday today. So I guess that means Friyay was a good one. I didn’t do a lot of anything. Walked up and picked up the truck to go grocery shopping today. I just don’t know when.

I was asked last night to wait until my mom comes back from picking up meds, and I think grocery shopping, so that’s what I’ll do.

I’m currently just sitting on the couch, drinking coffee, and watching Dateline on the NBC News Now YouTube channel. I like Dateline weekends. True crime is a little bit of fun for me, even though I couldn’t get through Tiger King. I think I have one or two episodes left – I have noticed that I’ll stop watching a show, for whatever reason with two episodes left.

It’s a bright and sunny day outside. I did get an alert on my Provincial weather alert app, saying that more snow is on the way tonight into tomorrow. It’s ranging anywhere from millimetres to a couple of inches.

I fear rivers over flowing, I hear the voice of rage and ruin

Hello friends! It’s good Friyay! That day way back when, Jesus thought today would be a good Friyay, if he skipped his spin class, and went out for some Starbucks.

And got a cinnamon bun.

As one does.

I think the snow has finally stopped. The town is digging out this morning. As I was shovelling, I did see the town moving snow around. Impressive, because it’s a holiday.

Like I said, the snow has finally stopped. Until Sunday, when we’re expecting another 10ish centimetres.

Great.

But I’m off today, and half another half of pot of coffee to plow through.

And just remember: today is a good day, to have a good day.

I love you.
