So, I found the Muppet Family Christmas (with time accurate commercials) on YouTube. I’ve found my kryptonite. It’s nostalgia. The muppets singing Christmas carols, and having to overcome an obstacle.
I’m a mess. Happy, but a mess.
For Crystal it’s sweeping soundtracks, and majestic visuals.
Today, it’s hand puppets for me.

Good morning every one. I’ve been up since 6, and Crystal, on and off since about 4 am. So yeah, we’re awake, but we’re not happy about it this morning. I’ve checked the weather and the snow that’s coming tomorrow, last night was sitting at just under 10 inches. This morning we’re sitting at back down to about 3 inches.
I’m getting tired of the will it, won’t it. But I guess we’ll see what happens when we wake up in the morning. We’ll either have a shit-tonne of snow, or something shovelable. Time will tell.
Chaucer is chasing his tail under the built-in bookcase. Pippin is taking this as he wants to play. So she’s trying to play with him. He just wants to level up his tail catching skills.
But we’re awake, and slowly greeting the day. Today, there’s a couple Christmas shows that I’ve saved to Crystal’s favourites so maybe we’ll watch some today. Or there’s 100s of hallmark movies to help get into the spirit. Let’s fucking do this!

Ahh December 23rd. It’s like a Wednesday, but worse I think. Good morning everyone! I have a kitten on my lap and a mug half full of coffee. It’s dark and cold outside, but it’s another day in TinyTown.
Again, I slept like the dead last night. Only to be mostly awake right at 6am. I tossed and turned, and was wide awake at 6:59. Then the alarm went off. After I got out of bed, Pippin started her game with Crystal pretty much as soon as I got out of bed.
I have a somewhat short day at work. It shouldn’t be too bad there today. I don’t really see a lot of last minute furniture shoppers coming in. However, if people do come in, I’ll be there to help them in what they’re looking for.
I hope everyone has finished their Christmas shopping. I have and Crystal has as well. All the presents are under out ceramic lite-brite Christmas tree.
Let’s get this day over with, shall we! Happy Friyay everyone!!
Do you know what today is? Come on, I’m sure you know what today is. Today is the day before the night before Christmas! That’s right folks, that means it’s just about time for some days off.
Oh and the fat man, squeezing his fat ass down the chimney.
The coffee is brewing, and it’s cold as fuck out there. We’re still under an extreme cold warning. Hopefully that will be lifted soon. I’m getting tired of the cold. But it would be a good time for Crystal to put all of her onesies on and go outside.
Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. I spent the first 1/2 hour or so with a hairdryer in my hand, thawing the front door, so we could get the lock and handle replaced. Hopefully this new one will be better, and won’t break, like the last 4 locks.
Ok, I’m going to go. Happy Thursday everyone. Stay warm out there.
We’ll, I can say, I had a much better, and restful sleep last night. As soon as I got into bed, I was out until the alarm went off. I don’t even think that I moved too much in the night. The only thing I felt this morning was Pippin laying between us.
Then the alarm went off.
And 15 minutes later, here we are. The coffee is brewing, but we already have a couple of mugs full. The news is on, and the kittens are wandering around.
As I stepped outside, I can’t tell if it’s blowing snow, or if it’s actually snowing outside. Either way, it’s still really cold out there. The forecasted snow for Christmas Day, has dropped again. But there’s still a chance of the totals climbing again. So we’ll see about that.
I stayed home yesterday. I really think I just needed an extra day just to recharge my batteries. The weekend was a little too busy for me I think. I didn’t really leave the couch, and I feel better. Still run down, but I’m feeling so much better today, than yesterday at this time.
So technically, I have two full shifts, and a 3/4 shift on Friday. It shouldn’t be too crazy. But knowing BossLady, I’ll be run a little ragged. That’s fine. It’s almost Christmas. I’ll get through it. I always do!
