So deck those halls, trim those trees, raise up cups of Christmas cheer

I really didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. I was very snuggly. I tried to snuggle The Beautiful One, but the way she lays when she’s watching her TikTok’s, is pretty much impossible to snuggle her. But I tried anyways.

Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. It was busy in the morning, and as the day went on, it slowed down a little. By the time we arrived at closing time? It had pretty much fallen off. But we got what needed to be done.

But now I’m on some days off, which are really nice. I’ll pop out to the tiny grocery store to see if they have any poinsettias. If they do I’ll get one for my grandmother for Christmas. I don’t want to, and can’t afford to get her a drawer full of sugar free candy.

But it’ll be chore day here today. And a massive fight in Persona 5 Royal. It took Crystal most of the day yesterday to finally beat the boss. So I’m definitely not looking forward to the fight. I’m gonna change to easy, before the fight. Hopefully it won’t take me 5 hours.

Fingers crossed.

Normally today would be a mix of Lazy Sunday, and chore day. Sadly, that’s not in the cards today. I’m opening up, and closing the shop today. Yeppers you got me for 8.5 hours all day!

Woot woot!

I slept pretty good last night. Sometime in the night my mask slipped off, and I couldn’t find it. I found it when I got up, and no way I would’ve found it just patting my hands around the bed. It was on Crystal’s legs! I blame the cats for slipping it off my head, and then hiding it.

I don’t have a lot of words for y’all today. I just woke up, and only have about an hour or so before I have to head to work, so yeah I’ll leave this post as is, and try to wake up a little.

We’re awake here. The Beautoful Ine wanted to sleep in, so we slept in for a little bit. The bed was very snuggly warm this morning. And, u think we’re in a little bit of a warm up.

But I have a day off today which is nice. I’ll be grinding in Persona 5 Royal today. Crystal is having a little bit of a problem with a palace, and she’s a few levels higher than me. So that means I’m going to have problems. So I’ll grind some levels before attempting anything. She’s been having a lot of problems.

One more shift and I’m off for a couple of days for Christmas. It’ll be nice to decompress and just relax over the holly jolly holidays.

Welp, I’m awake. Chaucer only dropped a short single last night, so we were able to fall asleep quickly. There was no dawn release, so we were able to sleep in to the normal wake up time.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday evening. It’s was steady at points, but we had a little bit of down time as well it was a really good mix of people coming through and we were able to get out on time.

Work again tonight, but thankfully I’ll have tomorrow off, and then I’m working Sunday, and possibly Monday then I’m off for the Christmas week. W00t!

Plus, I have to figure out what to have for lunch today. My fat ass ate Crystal’s lunches and I feel bad about that. Shit.

To hear sleigh bells in the snow

Morning.

Chaucer dropped a double album last night and this morning.

But we’re awake and rip-roaring ready to start the day! Woohoo! It’s a brand new day! It’s a brand new day covered in snow. The app says we had just over 10inches of snow. But I haven’t been out there to see what actually fell.

It started about 4 hours before we closed last night. And still people came even though the snow was flying, you just needed that Fresca, didn’t you. 🤣but we survived the night and made it home. The wind was blowing or I think the snow would’ve accumulated more. But it still looks pretty high out there.

I’ll shovel and clean off the car a little later.

But for right now, kitties, and coffee, and the Beautiful One.
