Zum Geburtstag viel Glück! 🎂

Podricks been a Podrick all morning. The BeautifulOne got up at the ass crack of dawn to take him out and distract home, because tomorrow, I’ll be up at the ass crack of dawn. Yep, for the first time in probably 3 months, I have an opening shift. But thankfully, I’ll be home in the early afternoon, and I’ll be able to sloth after that.

Finally, I beat a deck. The deck that’s been Medco g me for a couple of months. I was excited to unlock a new deck. But alas, earwax, I didn’t unlock a new deck. I didn’t really do anything, just beat the magic (or whatever that deck is called). I’ll have to go back to some of the older decks and try to beat them to unlock some more decks, like Crystal has.

We stopped at the local weed shop, and we wandered in. We like this place, the employees know who we are, and get our humour. So we walk in and I ask for my usual purchase, and ask if the big ol bag of weed that we get is on sale, and score! It is on sale. I then spy with my little eye, a new pipe. I pay for my purchases, and then Crystal pays for hers, and she bought me the pipe for my birthday!

Let me just say that I took it out for a test drive, and I passed out like that fool of a Took, after a hearty second breakfast. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out to dream world, until the flying tomato landed on my face this morning. thank you so much to The Beautiful One for getting it for me. I loves it so much. It’s my precious.

It’s just picture day here. I think this is my most photo heavy post outside of when I talk about the current video game I’m playing. But wait, I have one more picture: my dad just got out of the hospital for hip replacement last Monday, so I thought it would be nice to make him a snack basket, so my mother wouldn’t have to bake him snacks, and they could both rest. I have a $25 Apple gift card, (which part of it will be for Balatro, as we’re taking the Switch over and showing him. I really think that he’ll like it.) and a lot of snacks. I think he’ll like it. He’s hard to shop for.

World was in black and white until I saw your light

We’re all awake here. I don’t know where the cats are. But it’s quiet. Almost too quiet. Should I play the where’s the kittens? Or should I just let them do what they need to do. Hell, maybe they’re snuggled up on the back table in a sunbeam. update: Podrick is talking to himself, and I think he’s hanging out in the bathtub. As one does. You don’t? Well, you’re totes not in the know.

Allergies gone wild

It’s been hazy the last couple of days. We have two provinces, plus us on fire right now. We’re under a wildfire state of emergency. And the air quality isn’t all that great. Last night it looked like the Silent Hill fog was rolling in, but it was all wildfire smoke. welcome to spring in the prairies.

Today, we’ll be heading to SlightlyBiggerTown for some much needed supplies. The list has been written, and slowly being updated. We’ll be taking the big truck for the first long drive. It looks like it’ll be a nice drive. It’s usually pretty clear and relatively smoke free in the morning. Yesterday, the wind really picked up, and by the time I was leaving work, the smoke was noticeable, and you could smell it. By the time we were coming back from dinner, it was very smokey.

So let’s get this day started. It’s time to get things started, it’s time to light the lights. Well, you know, after some more coffee, and a chance to wake up. I still don’t hear the cats. I think they’re getting a long just fine. Yep. They’re snuggled together and totally happy together. That’s what I’m telling myself.

They’re good babies.

Herc was on a roll person of the week in evry Greek opinion poll

Good morning. I have Pippin curled up on my chest, and Podrick is curled up by my ankles. He’s snuggling then chasing his tail. Now he’s further up my lap. They’re getting along so far. Pippin is relaxed and purring. So far Podrick is just relaxing and cleaning himself.

We went to the local high school last night, and watched the play that the grade 10, 11, and 12th grade art classes show. Lemme tell you they put on a really good show. I was entertained, and I couldn’t have done what they did. Good for them. And it was a full house. Only a couple of chairs were empty.

Up early today for a mid shift. But surprisingly enough, Podrick is slowly falling asleep on my lap, and Pippin is still up in my arms. Happy Friyay everyone!

But the beaver was quick and he grabbed him by the kiwis

We’re awake! The baby, and The Beautiful One let me sleep in. Podrick was just starting to chase his tail as I woke up. I had to up my defences this morning – I had to put up the canola dome, as well as the back up dome so he wouldn’t attack my face this morning.

The sun is up, and it looks a little breezy out there. But it’s sunny, and it looks like it’ll be a good day to do mostly nothing. It’s a day off for me, and just about the end of the week. Just a simple mid-shift tomorrow. We’ll blow through it, and hit the weekend running.

It will be a nice day today. We have a musical to go to at the local (and only school) high school this evening – so that should be fun. We’ve been talking about it at work for like a week now. Some of the actors used to work with me, so it’ll be neat to see them singing and dancing.

We’ll maybe even go to the second hand store.

I do know we’ll head to the tiny grocery store to figure out dinner for tonight, and for tomorrow.

Watch the band through a bunch of dancers

Awake with a small bundle of fur landing on your head. Awake! He snuggled me in the night. I woke up and he was curled up in a ball curled up against the back of my neck. Then sometime in the night I woke up and lifted the blanket and he snuggled for a minute, because the blankets were all messed up, I don’t think he could find a comfortable position.

Then I fell back asleep until this morning. He was just started to get rilled up, and tried to climb the tapestry a couple of times. So I figured it was time to wake up. Pippin is holding her own for the most part. Podrick can be a bit of an ass, and relentless when he chases her. I’ve told her that she can use claws. Hopefully, they’ll be able to get along. She’s not so bad when he’s getting tired and doesn’t move as fast.

I’m still getting used to driving the big truck. It’s not that bad. It’s just big. I have to park in a different place, as the truck is so long. But that’s ok, it’s my dad’s baby, where I park, I can keep an eye on it throughout the day.

Yesterday, King Charles made the speech from the throne. It was exactly what was needed. I really enjoyed the 30 minute speech. There’s some pretty cool things brewing in the government, that I’m sure will piss off most people in the area. The area we live in is very conservative. So yeah. I’m excited.
