And I’ll be better when I’m older I’ll be the greatest fan of your life

Good morning. Podrick was nice this morning. I mean he was still doing Podrick things, but nice. I mean I could feel him crawl over top of me, and meow, but he wasn’t chasing his tail on top of me. I think he’s quietly watching kitty TV out the back door.

Maybe even sitting next to Pippin on the table. I’m not going to look, because if I do, they’ll get up and Podrick will chase Pippin away. So I’ll just assume that they are snuggled together.

I didn’t hear them after we went to bed last night. I mean he was playing and running around, but that just turned into background noise, kind of like my fan, and I passed out pretty quickly. I think at one point this morning I felt him in between us.

It’s bright and sunny out there, but like most days this week, that’s how it starts, then it slowly devolves into lots of clouds that threaten rain. Hopefully today is different. I still bring my hoodie to work every afternoon, and yesterday I wore it all shift. I guess summer is over, and we already transitioned into fall. It feels like the transition was weeks earlier. I mean it hasn’t been HOT at all this year.

The coffee has been brewed, and when I hit Publish, this post will be up as a celebration of the day of the week – Wednesday. Let’s gooo!

I’ll make you mine, you know I’ll take you to the top I’ll drive you crazy

WE slept in! After kicking the cats out of the bedroom at 5 this morning, I crawled back into bed. I ignored them when I heard something fall. I ignored them when I heard the something fall, then roll around the floor. I went back to sleep. Crystal went back to sleep (!!!).

It was her water tumbler.

When Crystal told me it was 8:30, we got out of bed. I went out and made breakfast for the kittens. Podrick was jumping around my feet. But I made him wait, so I could get both breakfasts ready to feed them. I put Podrick’s food down at his spot, and Pippin was sitting on the table by the back door, so I fed her right there. As they ate, I stood guard, and also waited for the coffee to be ready for consumption.

Now we’re up, and both kittens have full tummies. Podrick just went back to keep eating. He’s a chonky boy. But he’s also a growing boy.

Last night I watched Raw. It wasn’t too bad. Some good matches, and of course, a total shitshow for the main event. But even that was still good. I was definitely sports entertained.

Just me and a friend feeling kind of groovy, workin’ on a movie (yeah, right)

It’s a gray morning out there, and it’s chilly. I had to put on actual pants. Good morning my friends. I’m told it’s Monday. And today we’ll be heading out to SlightlyBiggerTown for some much needed supplies. Podrick is running around like a crazy person. He’s been a demon this morning. He jumped on Crystal’s face, so was ejected from the room.

We’re up now, and enjoying some coffee this morning. And I’m listening to the news talking about instagrams new feature: the live map, or whatever it’s called – and the user outrage over it.

The rain has started. Well, it’s been raining for a little while – I could tell, from the wet roads. I think it’s supposed to be rainy most of the day, and if it’s not raining, it’s just a flat gray. Maybe the heat and summer will come tomorrow. I’ll let you know.

But for now, I’m gonna wake up, focus the eyes, make The Beautiful One laugh at least once. When the time is right, we’ll make our pilgrimage to the next town over, on the other side of the tracks, and get some motherfucking food, weed, and a sub. And it’ll be a good day.

Da da da da dada da daaaa I’m lovin’ it!

It’s a little earlier than normal. My head is pound pound pounding, and I think Podrick went to sleep. We’re up? And the kitties are fed. Well, Pippin is, Podrick will keep going back to his bowl every couple of minutes until the gross dry kibble is all eaten. He’s back eating. I first woke up sometime this morning, to a kitten under the covers. I don’t know which one it was, because both kittens like to go under the covers. I’m guessing it was Pod. I didn’t pet or anything, if it was Pod, I didn’t want to excite him.

Today will be a busy one. Chores, which I’ll start in a few, brunch. Because, I want brunch, and it’s yummy. Then we’re off to Shady Acres, to be personable and normal, because some family came to visit. I’ll do my best to be talkative, but I can’t promise anything. My cousin is here, probably with his kids, and his new girlfriend. My mom’s been freaking out because she’s Indian, and a vegetarian. But mom says she still eats chicken, so for a couple of days mom had asked us to find Indian vegetarian recipes. So I have no idea what kind of food we’ll be walking into today!

The sun is a bright orange this morning – still. A lot of wildfires in the northern part of the province. It’s been weird, fall like weather. For the last couple of days, it starts out nice and sunny, slowly clouds over, and then for a few minutes to about a half hour, it lightly rains or at the most drizzles. Then it starts all over again. Weird weather.

Hey hit it! Nah, na na na nah, na na na nah na na nah, na na nah, na na na nah

It’s my Friday!

I didn’t even feel Crystal get out of bed this morning. It was just nice a quiet, and I was sleeping. I’m a little stuffed up this morning so that was present when I was trying to sleep. I wedged my arm under the side of my face in an effort to breathe. It mostly worked and I slept until The Beautiful One woke me up gently.

It looks like a somewhat sunny, but probably gonna be overcast all day. Thankfully I remember to bring my hoodie to work. But it’s freakin August, why am I still dressing in layers? It’s been a weird summer weather wise. It feels like it’s been an extended spring. I wonder if September is gonna be burning?

Work wasn’t too bad. Just the right pace to stay mostly busy for the evening. Hopefully it’s like at tonight as well. We’ll see. We kept the store together, and slung Red Bulls for whomever wanted them. It was good up until the very end. My mental math was 100%, but I must have hit the wrong button on the calculator, and I had to troubleshoot, which added some minutes. I ended up getting into the truck at 9:15. I still count that as a win.

Back at it for one final time this week. It’s gonna be a good quick day at work, and I’ll be home at my normal time. Maybe, if it’s chilly out, I’ll demand hot cocoa tonight. We’ll play that by ear.

Coffee first.
