Hump day. The day of humps. Half way through the week. And also, payday!

I slept pretty well last night. I kinda dozed until the alarm went off. Pretty much from 6am on. That’s ok, my mind now knows that the alarm will go off, and I’ll sleep all the way through tomorrow.

Yesterday at work was pretty good. As a surprise, BossLady was out of the office all day. I texted Crystal, and she came up and hung out til lunch. That was really nice.

Today, everyone should be in the shop. We’ll see what the day brings.

But first, coffee!

My alarm didn’t go off this morning. I slept in. I woke up at 7:07, slightly confused on why my alarm didn’t go off. I’ll have to figure out why it didn’t go off after work today.

The coffee is brewing, and it’s the start of a new week. I think it’ll be a good week.

Model Monday – Warhammer crafting

AKA – I forgot how stressful painting is.

It took me 2 tries and about 45 minutes to paint basically one colour on the base of Eddie the Eversor.

I actually had to strip it once and reapply the primer. Well, Crystal reapplied the primer as I’m not to be trusted with it.

While I struggle, Crystal is flying through the bases for the sisters. I’m still trying to come up with a good name for my army. Our Ladies of the Blessed Change? Too wordy?

I have a bit of a headache, so I think the painting is done for me for the day. Last night, I dreamed of dry brushing. Last night. I haven’t painting in like two years, and the day before I start painting, I dream of it.

Weird.

Cover much grounds, got game by the pound

Good morning again. We fell asleep quickly last night, and I think we slept through the night. It was a pretty good sleep. With snuggles.

The coffee just finished brewing, and we each have a cup. The news is on TV. I don’t have anything planned today, but I think we might be doing some painting this morning/afternoon.

I think it’ll be a good nerdy day.

It’s PRIME TIME baby!

Yes! We actually got off our butts and did some Warhammer priming today. I, needing adult supervision, needed Crystal to watch me. Of course I primed a little too heavy, so I had Crystal prime.

“Do you trust me?”

“Um, of course I do!

She has a plan for Celestine. She’s the artist, and I have complete faith in her ideas.

Tomorrow, we paint!
