So, work till it kills you, but don’t actually die – liars, and tigers, and bears, oh my Shawshank, March 18, 2026 We’re all awake in The Flat this morning. Podrick is in the window, watching a chickadee. For the last couple of days, it’s been pretty warm outside. People don’t seem to remember that there’s a good chance, a very good chance that there is an assload of snow on its way. I hope that I’m wrong, but just about every year, I get excited for the nicer weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be a lot nicer. Like 56° nicer. The parking lot at work, is just a mud pit. Hopefully by today, or tomorrow it’ll be a lot dryer out there. I didn’t even wear a jacket most of the evening last night. It was so nice. Just a little too windy out. I was out pretty quickly last night. Sometime in the night, I got up to use the bathroom. Podrick didn’t wander in, so I think that he was actually asleep somewhere. I’m happy that he sleeps somewhere. He was up and being Podrick pretty much before 5. I feel bad for Crystal, she’s already awake, and has to deal with him while desperately try to doze. I managed to lightly sleep. At one point I felt Pod flop next to my butt, but sadly he got up and ran away. But, Pippin has finished her breakfast, so I’ll let her out of the bedroom. I guess it’s official. It’s time to start to wake up. More coffee? Lemme top that off for ya. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningspersonal blogTinyTown

It was around 6:30 when I finally had enough of a 20lb cat either bouncing across my chest, or bruise inducing feet marching across my legs. But we’re all up, and I have Pippin relaxing on my lap…. Life Still runs good, built to last moves like a hula girl on the dash August 24, 2026 If it’s Monday, that means I got back to work this afternoon. With just one short day off, I’m now forced to go back to work, lest we start to live in the truck, and the Hot Mess Express. We don’t want that. We didn’t do too much of anything… Read More
Life On the Sunday morning sidewalk – wishing, lord, that I was stoned November 22, 2020 So on a plus side, I did laundry by myself like a big boy! It’s mostly folded, and hung up. Like a big boy! I did forget to shut off the pellet stove. So I did it as soon as I got home, and then set an alarm to go… Read More
