Everybody in this place looks like pure danger

I’m starting to get tired of Podrick’s early morning bullshit. I was up when he started fucking around at 5ish. I was awake when his food bowl went off. I was awake when he was just being an ass.

Now coffee is being brewed, and the bedroom door, which the little shit can open from the outside, is closed, so hopefully Crystal can get another hour, if she’s not already awake.

Spoiler alert: she’s probably been up longer than I have. And if I had a part of that, I am sorry. The bed was too hot, too cold. And I couldn’t get comfortable at all. My back is feeling worlds better, but it still freakin hurts. At least I don’t have to life anything today.

Just chores and brunch today. Nothing major. And then cleaning the stove at Shady Acres. But for right now, it’s me, and Podrick. And a soda cap that he’s playing with by the back door.

Winter is coming.

Snow tomorrow.

But with all of my tattoos and these songs I like to sing about booze

Here I am. Finally home from a mostly busy day at work. See, there’s a hockey tournament in town, so we’re always busy. I am happy though, that I don’t have to close tonight. I’m sure it’ll be busier tonight.

But Podrick woke me up 15 minutes before my alarm went off. I had trouble getting to sleep last night because Podrick and Pippin were fighting. I tried to ignore them but had to yell at them once, because I could hear them over the fan, and over sleep daddy.

I think I crashed after that. My back has been a bitch for the past week. It was the worst last night. After not doing shit on Wednesday, and basically just sitting on the couch, yesterday when I stood for 8 hours at work exacerbated the pain. Last night I couldn’t sit on the couch, I stood most of the night.

Like I said a couple of days ago, I’ve been on a country music kick. Call it hyper-fixation, call it boredom, but on Thursday, I played country music at work. Not too loud but just loud enough so if you were at the counter, you could hear it. My 16 year old co-worker was not impressed.

Last night, he got to the speaker first, and proceeded to play pretty much the worst divorced dad rock from the late 90s to the early 2000s. We’re talking Limp Biscuit, and other angry bands. For 8 hours I listened to this. Some of the songs were pretty good – Weezer, Nirvana, etc. but good god, now I know what my parents felt like when I was listening to The Doors, and Pink Floyd (for example) but the majority of this kids musical tastes are terrible.

I kept that to myself.

Now I’m back home. No work tomorrow. Just chores, and heading over to Shady Acres to clean the stove, and have dinner. My dad starts his chemo treatments tomorrow – in CapitalCity. There’s also gonna be at least 5-6 inches of snow falling all day.

Great.

Welp, happy Saturday. Y’all gonna watch Triple AAA wrestling tonight?

I’m wasting away all of my days just getting high

Just about made it to 7am. I think I was up around 6-6:30? I think I woke Podrick up this morning. I think moved around too much, or when I got up sometime in the night to go tho the bathroom. I must have woken him sometime.

I was true to what I mentioned yesterday. I didn’t get dressed, and we didn’t really get off the couch all day. I started playing a video game early, cause trumpy was on the tv. so I tried. I played for a little bit, but I got frustrated pretty quick, so I put on the Canadian news.

look. look at my balls. i command you.

We hat hotdogs for lunch, and stayed doing what we were doing, but this time, Crystal started playing Saints Row 4: then saintening, and played for a couple hours. I’ve been on a bit of a country music kick lately, so I added to a playlist that I listen to for a max 3-4 minutes on each way of the commute to and from work. So I’ll take years to actually listen to the whole playlist. So I was doing that while Crystal gave those dastardly aliens what for, if you knows what I means.

Back to work this afternoon. Working today, and tomorrow morning. My alarm has already been turned on. Let’s get a refill of coffee. Happy Friday, happy weekend my friends!

Smoking marijuana in the parking garage

God morning, you magnificent bastards. It’s the most useless day of the week: Thursday. Some call it the red headed step-child of the week. It’s just the day before the day before the weekend.

Podrick is really getting on Crystal’s nerves this morning. He’s been testing her for a couple of hours now. First with (I think) trying to climb the screen in the bedroom, then he’s now been trying to get on the plant shelf in the living room.

He’ll settle down. But before that happens, he’s the devil’s child for sure. He knows exactly how to push our buttons for sure. Sleep Daddy’s rain video was really helping this morning. I wish that I could turn up the rain stuff to block out bedroom sounds, but if I turn it up, what happens if Sleep Daddy starts talking? Then I jump out of bed. So I keep the volume quiet.

Day off today. I’m not doing shit. I don’t even want to get dressed. So unless something happens, fuck getting dressed. I’m tired of having to get up and dressed, and go out and do something.

TODAY, THIS IS “I’M NOT A FUCKING ADULT ALL DAY.”

I need some more coffee.

But with all of my tattoos and these songs I like to sing about booze they’ve ranked me the black sheep of the family

Yep, that’s right. It’s snowed last night or sometime this morning. So yeah, that’s a nice way to wake up in the morning. So very very nice. I’m excited.

Podrick was a pretty good kitten this morning. Only walking over me a couple of times, and using the edge of the bed closest to my head as a jumping off point to fling himself at the dressers. He only did that a couple of times. My headphones kept getting quieter and quieter. That one bad thing about Sleep Daddy’s videos are they aren’t all the same volume. You’d figure a guy that does sleepy time talk-down videos, they’d all at least be equalized.

Nope.

Work was a zoo last night. The morning crew served about 73ish customers, think me and one other guy served about a 120-150 customers. It was a mad house. I think we worked it out to be a customer walking in the store every 2-5 minutes. For about 4, just about 5 hours.

Back at it again this afternoon.

Did I mention it snowed? I think Crystal declared it was spring? I dunno, ask her!

Alright, let’s get the day started. With more coffee. Lots more coffee. Happy Wednesday y’all.
