Oh the warmth in your eyes swept me into your arms

Since it’s wicked cold out, and since it was supposed to be cleaned on Sunday – my dad turned it off Sunday afternoon, I was asked to fill it Sunday, so I did and turned it back on again. So I was asked to clean it today. I did the basic cleaning, and I’ll be shown the more in-depth cleaning on Saturday or Sunday.

So I cleaned it as well as I could and refilled the pellets, and restarted it. As far as I can tell, the basement isn’t on fire. But at this point, I’m too afraid to look!

I HAVE MADE FIRE!

You make me happy with the things you do

Good morning! It’s Friday! You made it! Of course, I totes knew you’d make it. You’re very skillful at making it through the week.

Why is it always the last 20 minutes before the alarm goes off, that the bed is the most comfortable and the your sleep is the deepest ever?

Well I guess my next Book Club book is Brave New World. I hope it lives up to the hype!

Happy Friyay everyone!

* it would be wicked awesome if y’all had some of the same books, and we could actually chat about the books in the Book Club. But it’s all good, I write this stuff for me, and then for you guys.

Way hey and away we go donkey riding

Awake. It feels like I slept in my left eye. It hurts a little to blink, like not hurt hurt, but hurt. Yanno?

And sometime today, I’ll be posting pictures of my bookcase, in hopes that You, the readers will help me choose the next book to review, and talk about in the Book Club.

But right now, it’s coffee time. Please, excuse me for a moment. Mm, kaffee.

It’s early, and I can’t think of anything else to write this morning. Later, I’ll post something else. Happy Thursyay!

With the furies breathing down your neck

My mom and dad had to go to another province for some tractor parts, so I’m here babysitting my gramma. I just popped out to grab the mail, and now I’m back where it’s warm.

I also brought in some contraband.

We have a provincial election on the 26th of this month, and as Crystal can corroborate, my mom is a staunch conservative. STAUNCH. from what Crystal says, every second or third post on Facebook is about how the liberal government are a joke, the Prime Minister is an idiot, and so on and so forth.

I am not a conservative. I’m not going to vote for them, even though they’re the favourites to win. It’s a lot more difficult to figure out who to vote for here. I think there’s 4 or 5 different parties to choose from.

I’m voting for these guys. Part of their platform is to raise the minimum wage to $15. This province has the lowest minimum wage in the country.

For my American brothers and sisters – VOTE
