I can feel the paradise before my world implodes

Good morning! Happy Monday! Welcome to Indecision 2021: Canada votes! Yep, I’ll be heading to the polls sometime today. I have my chores and laundry to do today, as yesterday was a shit show. More on That later, maybe.

Right now, the news is on, and the coffee is just about finished brewing. It’s a chilly morning – I think my TV said 2 or 3 beaver units outside right now.

So the plan for the day:

Coffee.

Breakfast.

Chores.

Vote for the future of Canada.

But before all that business, I’m going to need a pot of nice and strong coffee. Strong coffee makes the rockin world go ‘round.

I could be wholesome, I could be loathsome, I guess I’m a little bit shy

Ugh it’s way to early for this. I have to be up at Shady Acres at 7:30. So I set my phone alarm for 6:30 and took advantage of a 10 foot charging cable and stretched it out so it was on the floor almost in my room.

I’ve been up on and off since 4:30 – up just long enough to see what time it was and roll over and go back to sleep.

This coffee can’t brew fast enough.

I’ll try and post about the weekend as a whole tomorrow, right now I just want coffee.

I just finished the final episode of the final season of Battlestar Galatica. All I can say is wow. What a terrific end to a series.

I think the last 3 episodes are the longest I’ve sat in one place – glued to the TV. I just had to see how it ended.

I’m so very happy that I managed to sit through the first season. That was the hardest part. It just grinds you. Once you make it past the first, you’re golden.

All I have to say is goddamn – The Adama Maneuver. Holy shitballs.

So say we all.

Good morning all you party people! It’s Saturday, and today that means I’m going on a road trip! Woot! I’m getting out of dodge for the morning/afternoon.

Yep, I’m going to a populated town! Fast food for lunch. Then a quick trip to a bathroom, and then grocery shopping, and then a trip to Value Village!

Who’s excited!?

I am!

But first the coffee is brewing and the morning news show is on!

Now all I have to do is get dressed. How do you dress for a day that stays out at 11c, but is supposed to end up at 32c? I’ll let y’all ponder that.
