Let me hear your body talk, your body talk

Well, the cats wouldn’t let me sleep. it wasn’t all the cats fault, but mostly it is. I was nice and asleep at 5:30, when I heard the sound of Chaucer starting his rave. I got up and grabbed some paper towels. I couldn’t find any puke anywhere. So I went back to bed. I tried to sleep, but I was so so stuffed up. Pippin at one point climbed under the blankets to try and snuggle. But it was on the side that I couldn’t breathe. So she left. Both of us moved just a little bit and that set off Chaucer. All meows and purrs this morning. So, while I was basically up at 5:30, I’m sure Crystal was up long be fire then. She must have been a little warm, as I wasn’t allowed to snuggle her. So we got up. I did my normal wake up things, Chaucer so far has eaten all of his breakfast. That’s a 1/4 cup of dry food. He didn’t get sick after eating all of that food. Of course, I haven’t refilled the water bowls yet.

So yeah, we’re up. I don’t think we’re too happy about it. But it is what it is. The plan today, once it’s not an obscenely early moment, we’ll be getting some gas, and heading off to SlightlyBiggerTown to get some groceries. I think my vape pen might be good for another week. I’ll have to check the bills account balance, and I might be able to cover the fuel. And we’ll have to make a shopping list as well. It’ll be a nice morning. I had suggest maybe A&W, but Crystal brought up an excellent point: it’s so much better eating on the couch at home. So maybe Subway. I don’t know. We’ll figure it out. Either way we’ll have fun, like we always do!

The weather here over the last couple of days has been all over the place. Cool to the point of cold. Wednesday, I actually had to turn the heat on at work, just enough to take the edge off. Then it was mostly sunny and warm – hell, I actually wore shorts yesterday. But this morning? Back to a little froggy out, and cool. Overcast. That means my allergies are totally going haywire. I’ve actually taken the meds. I usually don’t take them this early. I try stubbornly to try and drain as much as possible. But I had too this morning. I just wanted to have a normal morning again where I wasn’t up and down every couple of minutes (let’s get real, seconds) to blow my nose.

So yeah, that’s the story of this morning. Was it the perfect morning? Not in the least. But I wouldn’t change it for the world. All the most important people are here, and that’s what matters. So for todays coffee cup salute, let’s salute Saturday mornings, and how much better they are than Monday mornings. Viva la weekend!

Those patio lanterns they were the stars in the sky

Good morning, faithful readers. It’s finally Friyay! Although, I had woken up briefly, and I could’ve swore that it was Thursday. I know this, because I double checked before I started this post. But here we are, the nicest day of the week.

It’s kinda bright out there, and it’s crisp. Fall has taken hold here. It’s only a matter of time before the snow starts to fall. Winter is coming.

Yesterday was a long, difficult day at work. Hopefully today will go a little faster, and hopefully BossLady will be in a better mood.

Chaucer just came up on my lap. He’s loafed and is very happy. When we woke up this morning, both kittens were on the bed all snuggled in.

So I’m gonna go refill my cup, and start the day. Let’s go Friday! Here’s to hoping the day goes quickly!

We’ll be fallin’ in love in the middle of the night just movin’ slow

While it’s still froggy out, I can see the sun. Good morning from the fog capital of the area. I think it’ll be a nice morning after the fog burns off. It took me a little longer to fall asleep last night. I had rolled over and Crystal was snuggled up next to me, and then suddenly, I couldn’t breathe through my face holes, so I rolled over.

And I was out.

Yesterday was a long day. BossLady was out at a Clients place for the morning. I took care of business, and in the early afternoon, I had texted her saying that there was no real point in her coming back for just a couple of hour. She took me up on the offer and I had the day to myself.

Lonely? Yeah a little.

But that’s ok. We should have just about the full team in this morning, so it’ll be a busy day I think.

Busy is good. Makes the day go quicker.

The coffee is flowing and the cars are wandering around. Again, once the fog lifts, it should be a bright day out.

Happy Thursday, my friends.

Take this pink ribbon off my eyes

The fog is thick this morning. It’s a gray day so far. Crystal asked how my sleep was – I’m not too sure. I don’t think I moved once we got comfortable. That doesn’t happen too often. I had weird dreams that I can’t remember. I know I dreamed, but I couldn’t tell you what I dreamed about. Strange.

Like I said, it’s froggy out there. It’s like silent hill out there. Hopefully the fog will lift. It didn’t lift at all yesterday. It just got a little lighter out there. The high today is 74°, but it’s supposed to rain all day. We’re expecting thunderstorms til about 1 or so, then just rain.

Hey, at least the grass is turning green. Too little, to late? This weather is now putting a hamper on harvest. Good times.

Didn’t do too much after work at noon yesterday. I’m lazy, and most times I don’t like it. Sloth mode is good for Monday, but sometimes I feel like I could’ve done more. It’s hard to explain. I want to do things, but I don’t want to do things at the same time. It’s a terrible loop.

Back to a full day of work today. Hopefully it’ll be a busy day. Just need to have more coffee, and hopefully like the fog, my brain fog will lift as well. And hopefully, the sinus’ will drain too.

Let’s go Wednesday!

We’ll, hello there. It’s a gray and rainy Tuesday morning. I’m a little groggy, but I had a much better sleep last night. I think I got up around six, but when I got back to bed, I fell right back to sleep until the alarm went off.

I’m still hella stuffed up, but hopefully it’s just severe allergies.

Yesterday was what I thought it was going to be. A whole lot of nothing. It was great. Crystal picked up the controller first, and played a couple of hours of Witcher 3. It’s fun to watcher her play. It’s like watching a movie.

I made brunch yesterday. I think it was good. Honestly, I couldn’t really taste too much. But it went off without a hitch. When the dishes were done, Crystal passed the controller to me.

I fired up TotK, and proceeded to really do nothing. I did manage to finish some of the smaller quests and landed on a dragon again, the fire dragon. So I picked up what I could from it. Then I explored the castle for a half hour, then shut it off. I felt like I didn’t accomplish anything.

We watched tv until it was time for bed, once in bed I passed right out. As soon as I climbed in, I was sinking in to it. I was out.

And now, here we are. Cat on my lap, a coffee next to me, and the great one sitting next to me. Let’s get this day started.
