Morning. I’ve been up on and off since about 4:30ish. Tossy turny. I think it was around 6 when I was finally pain free and somewhat comfortable. But I was still tossy turny, which probably helped Crystal wake up earlier than me.

The bbq yesterday was really nice. It was really nice to see my gramma. It’s a small town here, and she had commented that we should visit more. It’s hard to see her in a home. With her dementia, it’s hard to have conversations with her. But I’ll try to get over to the home a little more.

After that, it was back to work for a few hours. It wasn’t too hectic, BossLady and I got a couple of things finished, and I brought in a delivery. Not too much only a couple of pallets of dining furniture. So it wasn’t too heavy.

We were under a thunderstorm warning last night, and lemme tell you, it didn’t disappoint. The skit was being lit up, and the thunder … well, thundered last night. The first year that I was here, I experienced the night sky being lit up a couple of times, it’s always so neat when it happens.

But it’s a new day here, and we’re both up and bright eyed and bushy tailed. Bring on Thursday!

Stay forever and ever, and ever, and ever

Good morning my friends. I hope your morning is going well. Except if you’re in Florida, I know you’re having a tough morning. Stay safe, y’all.

I slept. It was ok. I have a knot or something on my side, so every time I try and roll over, I would wake up. So that last couple of hours or so, it was painful to roll over. It was very hard to find a position that was comfortable, and pain free. I think at one point I did find that position. Eventually.

It’s a bright and sunny morning here. The winds haven’t picked up yet. So maybe they won’t get too high today.

Yesterday was a pretty good day. I got home at noon, and instead of having lunch right away, I wanted to undo the tye-dye bundles. I’m wearing a tye-dye shirt today! I think this is the most colours I’ve worn all at once for a while!!

Back to work today. But I have a bbq to go to this morning. I’ll be off of work from 11-2. But after that I’ll be back in the office.

But before all that can happen, I need coffee. Happy Wednesday! Let’s go coffee!

I’m high as a kite I just might stop to check you out

Welp, today I didn’t feel Crystal get out of bed. When the alarm went off, that’s when I found out. It’s ok though, because when she does get up just a couple minutes early, the coffee is ready when I get up. That’s awfully nice of her, if you ask me.

Good morning my friends. It’s a sunny Tuesday morning here. It looks like it’s gonna be a nice day. Yesterday, we didn’t do too much. I made some brunch. After the dishes were finished, we started to TYE-DYE. It was pretty fun. And technically, we didn’t tie anything. We did a T-shirt, and two pairs of pants. We unwrap them today!

Other than that, we didn’t do too much. I played some TofK, and Crystal kicked some ass in the Witcher 3. All in all, it was a pretty nice day.

And here we are now, coffee next to us, and the news in the TV. Happy Tuesday my friends. Let’s make this week be the best week in August!

The silence, the terror, the pain, the horror. As your mom comes downstairs

Have you ever farted into a wine glass, then smelt it? Good morning my friends, welcome to Monday. Or as we call it here – brunch day. I woke up this morning, and my first thought: you forgot to take out the bacon last night. So the bacon is now sitting in the sink defrosting.

Oops.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. We didn’t pick apples. My dad did put his scan tools on the Hot Mess Express, and found nothing wrong with it. Excepting of course, the TPMS system. But we already knew that. After a quick drive to the corner and back, the Hot Mess has a clean bill of health. Woohoo!

After that, it was the typical Sunday afternoon. We all just hung out and played on our phones, and for my dad, his iPad. It was a nice relaxing afternoon.

When we got home, we didn’t do too too much I shaved Crystal’s head, and shaved mine as well. We just relaxed. We watched some Supernatural, and CSI. So that’s what we did.

I think to day we’ll be doing some tie dye. That should be a lot of fun. Then a great dinner of ground cow shaped into disks, and some planked potatoes.

Oh well, yep, there’s the alarm. I made it until the alarm just about went off, and then I fell asleep again. Til the alarm went off. It’s a bright and sunny day out there, and looks to be a beautiful day.

Yesterday was a really nice day, just a hiccup. We were on our way to SlightlyBiggerTown, only about a lm from the house when the check The gone light came on. I immediately turned around and parked the car. I texted mom and asked if we could use her truck, she said yes, so I walked up to the house and grabbed it. Shortly after that, we were on our way.

Other than that little bit of excitement, it was a pretty standard trip for groceries. We didn’t have to go crazy. But we actually had a list. Impressive huh? We got just about everything we needed, and a couple bonus items.

We ended up getting Subway for lunch. You know Subway has gotten loads better than it was even 3 or 4 years ago. Whatever they’ve done, it doesn’t feel like you’re being punished for eating there anymore. The food isn’t as depressing as it used to be.

Not too much on tap for today. The usual chores, which’ll be started a little later. When I dropped of the truck, mom said we’d be picking apples today. I guess the apple tree is ready to give us what it’s got.
