I’ve got two tickets to Iron Maiden, baby come with me Friday, don’t say maybe

It looks like it’ll be a somewhat nice day out there today. And that’s a good thing – I’ll be at our outside warehouse today. I have a stack of price tags, and shit needs to be priced, yo.

Good morning my friends, welcome to Thursday. It’s almost the weekend. The leaves are falling and it looks to be a beautiful fall day here, north of the wall.

Yesterday went relatively quickly. I got most of the sales tags up in the showroom, back room, and just about everything in the seacan. That’s not to bad, considering that it was just me in the store yesterday. Things are starting to come together.

Each evening after dinner and dishes are done, we’ve been watching one episode of The Fall of the House of Usher on Netflix. It’s really good so far, I’m really enjoying it. It’s a somewhat quick moving slow burn. It’s really good.

So let’s get the day started! Thursday! Coffee! Leaves! Happy almost the weekend, we can making it.

Opinions are like arseholes, which everybody’s got

I really didn’t want to get out of bed this morning. Oh, it was the perfect temperature. But the alarm went off, and once again, it scared the crap out of me.

So here we are. I think it’s Wednesday. The news anchor that always wears pink on Wednesdays isn’t today. Which is kind of confusing this morning. But here we are. Both slightly awake.

I think we found the arm pit of the area yesterday. We were putting out posters and signs for our sale that were going to be having, and drove into this town/village. It was like the Eastern European country that they visited in Eurotrip. You almost expected people to be out on their front decks washing themselves.

But we got it done. We started first thing in the morning, and pulled into town at around 4:30. I dropped off Crystal at home, and went back to work to clean the truck, and to move the trailer for the haunted hotel next door. Now they can get their entrance all set up.

Today should be just a long day – I’m putting out sales tags. Front and back of store. I should be getting help tomorrow when everyone else is expected in.

But before all that, motherfucking coffee. Happy hump day y’all.

Taking more than her share, had me fighting for air

Well, I can say I had a good nights sleep – with no nightmares. I think I just had normal sleeps. Finally. I was a little tossy turny but that’s ok.

Yesterday was a very very nice lazy day. I cooked the usual breakfast brunch, and we took turns playing the Switch. I quickly ran out to grab some wraps for dinner, but they didn’t have any, so I grabbed some garlic naan.

Is read of having chicken back Caesar sandwiches, we had the same, but in pizza form. They were amazing. I really liked it.

After dinner I played a little more, and then shut it off for the evening. After our shower, I turned on episode one of The Fall of the House of Usher. I enjoyed the first episode. We might be watching creepy and scary shows for the rest of the month. We’ll see.

Back to work today. Road trip, so it’ll be different. I’m putting up signs in various towns for our sale. Hopefully it’ll take most of the day. It looks like it’ll be a somewhat nice day for it. I’ll go in at my normal time, and come back and pick up Crystal about an hour later. She’s coming with me today for a day out.

Happy Tuesday!

The DJ plays my song and I feel alright

I was up slightly before the alarm went off, yet when it did, it surprised me a little. I know I had dreams last night, but I don’t remember them this morning. Good morning, my friends. It’s a bright and clear Monday morning.

And I forgot to take the bacon out last night. It’s out now. That’s all that matters, if you ask me.

Oh, and also, according to Google Calendar, it’s Crystal’s second birthday. It started as a joke, I told her many many years ago that her birthday was too close to Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. So I randomly said your new birthday is October 16th. And now, here we are! Happy birthday Crystal!

Yesterday was a great lazy day. We simply played video games and did chores. The chore were completed quickly, so we were only waiting on the laundry to be finished, and even that finished quickly.

From there we headed over to Shady Acres, and had a very good dinner, and we just hung out a chit chatted for a little bit, but we took off shortly after dinner, as we had to feed our own kitties. And lemme tell you, they were screaming for food. After they were fed, we took turns playing some No Man’s Sky.

I just had a kitty lay down on my lap. Chaucer is happy. It’s a new week. Happy Monday y’all.

Just over 12 hours in – No Man’s Sky

Hey hey video game nerds. I’ve found a game that took my mind away from TotK. You see, I’m 90% of the way to end game on it. I just have one temple to go, and then if I wanted, I could battle Ganon. But, I have no real want to beat the game. BotW totally lost its replay value when I defeated Ganon. You’re just transported back to your last save point, and it was like the big battle never happened.

That kind of annoyed me, and I pretty much never really picked up the game again. I don’t want that with TotK. So technically if I never beat it, I’ll never have that disappointment. Right? Anyways, that’s my logic.

So last Saturday, I took it upon myself to buy No Man’s Sky – henceforth known as NMS. Besides it was like 50% off or something like that. So while I waited for it to download, I turned on TotK. I futzed around until the download was complete. So probably only like 15 minutes or so.

So lemme tell you – I’m just over 12 hours in, and I have no clue what I’m doing. But I have realized that I’m a pretty good ship-to-ship fighter. I picked up the wrong thing on the wrong planet, and I had the robot police after me. The Sentinals. I fought them on the planet, and into space. It got to the point that I was like 5 star wanted, but they just kept coming. I think with the advice of Crystal, I ran to a near by space station. That did the trick.

A couple of nights ago, I finally pulled the trigger on a new ship. It’s a little faster and has more storage than my old one, aptly named star spooge. Just before I swindled an innocent alien out of their space ship, I’ll pull all the modifications out of it, and traded ships, with a few units tossed their way as well.

This ship without the modifications on it is better than my old ship. Sure it’s a class C, but a lot of the modifications already in it were class S (which is the best), and with the ones I installed, made it a really good sleeper. It’s deadly and fast.

I still have no idea what I’m doing.
