Late breaking story on the CBC

As Crystal put it in a text message to her mother: IT WAS ALL MELTED. SPRING WAS HERE.

Ahh yes, but welcome to second winter. Although if you were counting, this is technically, like fourth winter. But yep, it’s snowing. And should pretty much be snowing for the foreseeable future, and into the evening as well.

Yesterday was a mix of laziness, and cleaning. Li did the chores, and in late morning, I cooked brunch. Other than that, I played Balatro for pretty much the whole afternoon, frustrating myself in the process. But I actually managed to beat another deck. It kind of snuck up on me, and then BOOM! I get the you won message.

Yeah, I was surprised. I showed the screen to Crystal, and said oh shit, I won! After the win, I had a couple of hours of pure shit being dealt to me. It was wicked frustrating, but I powered through it, and played more. I didn’t win on another deck, but I did manage to get my first ever Royal Flush!

That surprised me!

Back to work this afternoon. And, I think probably by the end of the week, this white shit will be gone again soon.

Ain’t got no picture postcards, ain’t got no souvenirs

Good morning y’all. I hot up in the middle of the night, because unknown forces managed to get my mask off of me in the night. So I had to find that, and figured, why not go to the bathroom? So I bird boxed my way to the bathroom m, and did my thing. I want back to sleep.

Pippin didn’t scream this morning. She was actually snuggled in her nest in between us. I don’t think she even got up when I stumbled to the bathroom around 3 am. She was a really good girl for not screaming until we (I) woke up.

It’s a bright and sunny day out there. It’ll probably be a big change when we wake up tomorrow morning. You see, we’re expecting snow tomorrow.

Today’s gonna be a lazy day. But a lazy day that I have a lot to do. I have my Sunday chores and of course, Sunday brunch. It’ll be a nice relaxing day. Maybe, I’ll even play some Balatro.

More coffee first.

One last push, my friends. One more shift and I’m off for a day! I slept like the dead last night. I don’t think I got up in the night. I do remember Pippin yelling and her snuggling with me for a little bit. But she left when I tried to slowly cover my shoulder back up.

Oh, I won Balatro again. I can’t seem to actually win with another deck. I’ve won with the yellow deck, and a few times with the ghost deck. If I still have any brain power tonight, maybe I’ll try again.

I’m gonna cut this post a little short, so I can go and hop in the shower. That’ll help wake me up. So happy Easter Sunday. Eat the chocolate. Treat yourself.

Sorry this post is late. I was up wicked early for work, then we went to SlightlyBiggerTown for some food and much needed weed supplies. Found a coworker was buying some weed and weed accessories, so I introduced Crystal to him, and he left, we bought and headed back to The Flat to unload groceries.

Now, we’re at my parent’s house for Easter dinner. I ment to start writing this post up as soon as I say down, but I opened up Balatro and started to play.

Back to work tomorrow. All day. Thankfully, I have Monday off, and a lighter schedule for the following week.
