Here I am. Mostly awake. I went down for a nap, and I don’t think that I actually slept. It was the lightest sleep possible. we are not impressed.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. It was a weird night. Both me and TisimBoy were off our games. Last Sunday they up graded out POS system, and were basically the bug finders. No bugs, just none of the cables are actually tightened to the computer. Meh. We got it working again.

From there, I had to fly home, eat some cake (because…. cake), smoke some weed, and go to bed, because 4:39 came in like a wrecking ball. I get up, and head to the bathroom. Just to hammer my funny bone agains the door knob. Ow! So my arms hurting.

Worked until early afternoon, and that brings us full circle to the first paragraph. Tonight’s dinner- cheeseburgers! And don’t forget the fries. I can’t wait. I’m hungry.

I had this dream where I relished the fray

Good Tuesday morning, my friends. It’s bright and sunny outside, and the birds are singing. The household is awake and ready to start the day. The coffee has been brewed, and is already being consumed.

Yep, it’s Tuesday. Another closing shift. Today will be a little different. I close tonight, yet in a fun twist of events, I’ll be opening tomorrow. Nice, huh? It’ll be a marathon of coming home, and pretty much turning around to sleep, because 4:39 will come quick.

Grad week has started. We had a couple of seniors come through on their scavenger hunt. Three different grads in their underwear paraded through. One bought a pack of gum, one – 0.69c with of fuel, and an employee even came through. And for some reason didn’t want to chat whilst he grabbed his slurpee.

Fun times.

But I needs me some coffee. I hope your Tuesday goes as smooth as possible. The weekend is getting closer and closer.

Ditch the clowns, get the crown baby I’m the one to beat

Good morning internet family. I hope everyone is up and awake on this Memorial Day, or every other country, simply Monday. We had our long weekend last week, so it’s back to work today.

Not a lot got done yesterday. Just the regular chores, which we got through pretty quickly. After the chores were done, Crystal was making her dreads look better, and we watched Bridgerton. We’re finally through the previous seasons, and have started season three.

I cooked dinner last night. Chicken curry with egg noodles. It was very good. And we finished out the night stuffed full of yummy food. Stuffed full.

I’m closing today. So the morning is mine. I’ll just hang out and slowly get ready. I also have to figure out what I’m going to have for lunch today.

Good sunny morning. The birds are singing, and both the cats have made their way on to the back door table. They’re in a giant sunbeam, and they are loving every minute of it.

The coffee is flowing, and we’ve both been awake since before the alarm went off. But the bed was so comfortable. We reluctantly got out of bed. Besides, we both needed to use the bathroom.

So yesterday, I was the adult in the building. I opened the store. Just a little hiccup with the opening, but with a quick text to the boss, I got the store open. After the first hour or so, the nerves disappeared, and the day got underway.

The day was actually a little slow, for a Saturday. I gave the two new guys their positions for the day. The Saturday new guy only works Saturdays, so he’d just be outside customer service. Current new guy, who is register trained with me. We ran the store. Well for the most part, I was the register jockey. He did get time on the register, but I was the majority of the register jockey.

By six, it was time to close. I worked on that, and when it came to 6:15, I couldn’t handle them watching me at that point, so I sent them home. I only had another 5-10 minutes of work, which got done.

Home.

Crystal made an AWESOME dinner. Pasta and sauce, garlic bread, and a giant garlic sausage. It was very very tasty, and I was stuffed by the end of it.

After dinner, Crystal wanted to take her dreads out, and needed my help. So of course I’d help her. Earlier in the week, she was listening to her music, and sent me a text saying that we needed to have a rematch of Grease.

So of course I found it on Paramount right away, and we sat down to remove hair, and watch Grease. It was as good as ever, and we throughly enjoyed it.

Good morning. We’re awake. I was up a little before the alarm went off, when my mind asked the question – did you set the alarm for 6 or 6:30? Welp, the alarm went off at 6, for the record. I think I slept pretty good. With an extra couple of hours, I feel a little groggy, but not too bad.

If I have to admit, I am a little nervous. I’m putting up a brave front with jokes and all that. But every day is a bit of the unknown. So that’s what’s making me nervous. I know it’ll just be a busy day, and BossLady, assigned a third person today, which will totally help.

It’ll be a good, but busy day. And we’ll get through it.

Right now though, I just wanna get through some coffee. Happy Saturday everyone!
