You know I can’t afford to buy her pearls

Here I am. I’m awake, but not liking it.

But I have to be an adult, and get up. So, I’m up. It looks chilly out there, mostly sunny. Winter is coming. And it’ll come quickly, and with great force this year I think. I think the snow is probably 2-3 weeks away.

Work wasn’t too bad last night. It was somewhat busy when we got there, and then it slowed down and it wasn’t too bad of a night. I only have two more shifts closing, and then on Saturday, I’ll be opening on Saturday. Yay.

I have a Chaucer on my lap, he’s all snuggled in. Maybe he’ll get a piece of bacon today. I was going to buy a pack of sausages for lunch, but the cheap bacon was on sale, and I technically could’ve of bought 4 packs of bacon or 1 pack of sausages. So I simply bought 1 pack. Breakfast for breakfast!

I don’t believe in God, but I believe that you’re my savior

Good morning everyone. I do believe that I slept all the way through the night. That’s right, yours truly didn’t really move at all and I was out like a light. I’m pretty sure that I woke up in the same position that I fell asleep in.

Work last night wasn’t too bad, or busy. It was slightly steady. The night passed without problem. It was almost a sweet spot, not too busy, but not that dead. Today, it looks like the wind has finally stopped. So I have somethings to do when I get into work, unless they do it on first shift.

I don’t really have too much else to type about today. I’m of course, enjoying my coffee. Chaucer was just sitting between us? But has moved to the pirate chest. It’s just a nice morning.

Happy Tuesday y’all. It’s bright and sunny out. Winter is coming.

Just you and me in a truck bed wide like a California King

I’m awake. But not happy about it. We’ve both been up for a while, but I’ve been able to fall back asleep each time I’ve been woke up. The wind really kicked up in the night. So hard that, it was rattling the blinds. I don’t know what time it was, because I didn’t lift my mask. I went out in the middle of the night, and closed the kitchen window, in hopes that would stop the blind rattler.

It didn’t. But I slept for what was possibly minutes, before I got up again to slowly walk around the bed, and closed the bedroom window. Finally silence. I think I slowly made my way to the bathroom, did my business, and went back to bed, and got as close as I could to Crystal.

What felt like minutes, Crystal woke me up, as it was time to start the day. I protested, and was told, you slept, I’ve been up since 3. Eep! Like I said. I don’t know when I was up, I refuse to take off the mask.

Man, this coffee tastes good this morning.

It looks like the wind is supposed to carry on all day.

I helped my dad clean the pellet stove yesterday. I had to go up on the roof twice. I made it up and down twice, with no real problem. I’m proud of myself for not freaking out (too much) while getting up and down from the roof.

Back to work today. Happy Monday y’all.

And the beer I had for breakfast wasn’t bad

Good morning my friends. It’s another bright and shiny day here. The wind has mostly died down. And here we are.

We mostly played Echos of Wisdom yesterday. We took turns. It’s a very fun game, and we’re both enjoying it. Which is awesome, because I was very nervous that I’d totally hate it, and that’s totally not the case. After about an hour or and hour and a half, the frustrations are more apparent, but that’s about when we switch of anyways. Give or take an hour, or so!

Back to being an adult again today. I’ll be starting up the chores pretty soon. Just the usual ones, laundry, etc

But first, coffee. Let’s go, Sunday!
