Lazy yellow moon comin’ up tonite, shinin’ thru the trees

Good morning my friends. It’s a gray and cool looking morning out there. We slept in a little bit (thanks Crystal!), and now we’re up and starting our day. Podrick was pretty good this morning, minus the fact that he was using my legs as the Appalachian Trail all morning. He’s fine once he’s up on the bed, but his weight, and little paws start to hurt as soon as he steps on me, which also wakes me up every time.

Back to work today after a glorious 3 days off. I’m ready to go back. Any longer, and I wouldn’t be in work mode, and it would take most of the week to get me back into that. I think 3 days off is a pretty good little stretch. It also helps that I wasn’t just sitting on my ass for the whole three days. The first day and a half, we were pretty busy.

We got all the big items out of the house – minus my mom’s vintage sewing machine, which will be moved out sometime this week. other than that, it’s cleaning, and tossing the items that she doesn’t want. I think there’s some stuff in the basement that needs to come up, and be gone through. So it is and isn’t just about done. But we’re getting there.

We’ll see if my mom is going out anywhere tomorrow, and maybe I’ll pop over and move some stuff from the basement to the upstairs living room. It’s easier to move stuff without her there.

But today, coffee, and mental preparation. Possibly some contemplation. It’s Tuesday, bitches!
