Kiss you on the dance floor in a t-shirt and faded jeans Shawshank, May 29, 2026 Day three of the heat wave. Wait, didn’t it snow there like last week? Yep, and yesterday it was 90°. Gotta love global warming. Thankfully, while the last couple of days was freakin hot – everytime people walking it the shop, they have to comment on how cool it is in the store. No shit, we’re not gonna sweat. Now that we’re allowed to turn on the AC. But I digress, I never finished my actual sentence – it’s been breezy, some would even say windy. So it helped to not hen so hot, at least in my mind. One more shift this week, and boom ™️, and I’ll be on a weekend off. And it’ll be glorious. And since my parents have to be in CapitalCity early Monday for my dads chemo, we’ll go over for dinner and festivities on Saturday night. Hopefully we’ll get back in time to see El Grande Americano be victorious over the Original El Grande Americano in a mask vs. mask match. I need a lot of coffee. It was a good sleep, but a warm one. So I’m going to refill my coffee, and watch Podrick do the dark math to jump up on the top of the front door. That’s gonna be a no from me dawg. Life Through barbed wire valleys and overgrown dells June 15, 2026 I was awake before my alarm, again. That’s on, I usually am, when it comes to work. I just don’t want to be late, and I think my mind does it to save me. But I woke up about 30 minutes before the alarm, and tried to sleep. I managed… Read More
