It’s been a long, long, long time running Shawshank, April 13, 2024 The sound of a cat rave woke me up briefly this morning. The big man, Chaucer, was getting a little sick around 6 I think. We sprung to readiness, and the great Crystal cleaned it up. We got back into bed. When the alarm went off, we snuggled for a bit to hear the weather report for cities 2+ hours away. It should be a very nice day locally today. I think the best day for the next week is today. And what’s the plan for the day? I don’t know. I’m still thinking of a movie marathon. What’s for dinner? That’s a very good question. We’ll figure that out later. Date night went off without a hitch, as expected. I had a spicy (not so spicy) chicken sandwich with Caesar salad. I like their spicy chicken sandwiches, but as always, they’re not that spicy. This one just had some nacho cheese. I have to remember when I got to drop off some mail to Shady Acre, to stop on my way back to the flat at the grocery store. I need to pick up some milk. But for right now, coffee. I think I got up around 2 or 3, to go to the bathroom. I navigate at night using my spidey sense, and not my eyes. After I was… Read More
Life We’ll live to survive our paradoxes May 27, 2021 It’s bright and sunny out. The birds are chirping. That means it’s a weekday. Probably Thursday, if my internal clock is correct. I had a pretty good sleep last night. Warm and snuggly. Did you know that TinyTown has a door to door fish salesman? I sure didn’t. But I… Read More
