I’ll kick you out of my home if you don’t cut that hair Shawshank, November 26, 2022November 26, 2022 Awake! It’s completely dark out. The sun is still sleeping. It’s a little breezy outside, doesn’t feel too cold out there. When my head hit the pillow, I was out totally until my alarm went off this morning. Crystal wasn’t as lucky, I felt her get out of bed, I just didn’t know what time. It was around 5 or 5:30, she said. I’ll have to find a nature show to put on this afternoon, so she can nap a little. She deserves a nappy nap. She turned the coffee on, so it was like those coffee commercials, except the brewing didn’t wake me up. I would’ve gotten up if she woke me. I’d have snuggled her on the couch. So I’ll try and give her a nap this afternoon. I think we had a really good date night. Crystal gave her painting to the restaurant, and I think, she might be a co-owner loved it, and said that she might take a picture and send it to the other owner. She thought it was really cool. After dinner, I drove out of town so Crystal could spin in near complete darkness. It was so cool. The few minutes that we were out there, I got a couple of videos and a handful of stills for her. Prepping for greatness Nothing much planned for today. Once the sun wakes up, there will be some more movement, and even after that, we’ll get dressed and head out to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries and other items. Then I’ll cook Crystal a yummy dinner and we’ll snuggle on the couch. Then another day will be in the books. But I’m getting a head of myself. Would you like a coffee? Life I know you’re cravin’ some fresh air, but the ceiling fan is so nice June 18, 2024 Good morning my friends. It’s a new work week. Well, yesterday was the start of the new work week, but it was a bonus day, as I’ll be working on Saturday (yay). It’s all good. The coffee has been brewed, and everyone’s favourite alarm went off two minutes before the… Read More

Life Now I know your heart, I know your mind October 19, 2020 Greeting from SlightlyBiggerTown. I had to drop my moms car off for repairs. I told them I was told I’d have a courtesy car, they gave me an Escape. They’ve gotten smaller since I own one. It’s like a small car now, not a tiny SUV. I get in, see… Read More
Good morning, folks. You just know the day is starting off on all the wrong vibes when I was up two hours early again and the first person I see in my favorite Discord server is my least favorite person. On the plus side, I got kitty snuggles. Chaucer is glaring at us from the floor. He’s upset because I smell like another cat. I enjoyed a rare, proper wake and bake on the steps after Shawshank put out a dish of water for Backdoor Cat. The cat showed his appreciation with a lot of rubbing against my legs. We had a busy afternoon yesterday. We left a little later than usual, and it was after lunchtime by the time we arrived in Slightly BiggerTown. Our first stop was to the antique store for the last of Mom‘s Christmas gifts. Not wanting to shop on empty stomachs, we made our next stop the only fast food place within an hour. I tried something different, and regretted it. From there, we went off to grab the other necessities. First, we bought groceries. We didn’t have a lot of stuff on the list this week, mostly “accessory foods” to put with the proteins. Our next stop was to buy a plastic bin, and then finally a stop at the pharmacy so I could buy hair doodads. Thankfully, everything is in one plaza. We park, shop, put shit in the truck, and then go on to the next place. Our last stop was the dispo, and then we headed back to the Flat. We made good time overall. It was still early afternoon when we arrived back home. We both put on cozy jammies and Shawshank made good on his promise to find a nature show that I could nap to. Chaucer climbed onto me, licked my face, and settled in to sleep as well. Pippin slept on Shawshank’s legs. Shawshank said he slept for a little bit. I slept for about two hours, waking up when he started to prep dinner. It’s going to be a lazyish day here, I think. Shawshank started the laundry. We’ll do whatever. Later this afternoon, we’ll head out to Shady Acres for dinner. I plan to bleach my hair, the only question being whether I do it before or after we go to his parents’ house. Reply
