See that? That’s my little patch of grass. I’ve been watering this little patch of grass for a few days. I think it’s rained maybe 3 times since June. We’re in a drought. But thankfully, it rained here last night. In fact, it’s supposed to rain pretty much all day. I got up in the middle of the night, not to pee, but to raise a the blinds in the kitchen an inch or two, as the breeze coming in was causing it to bang against the window, which woke me up.

After I did that, I fell right back asleep. I think it was a good sleep. It’s currently nice and cool in the flat so far. The perfect weather to enjoy some coffee, which is what I’m going to do.
