I got to tell my little sister not to do the way I do ’cause the pills won’t help take away the pain like the whiskey and the cocaine do Shawshank, October 9, 2026 Good morning. Hap, hap happy Friyay! In my mind so far, it’s been a morning. I was up early? All I know is that it was dark out. It felt like Podrick was up on the bed every couple of minutes. Add the fact that it took a while for me to actually relax enough to fall asleep. It’s already been a day. One more shift to go, but even after it’s over, I can’t rest on my laurels. Saturday morning, hopefully after coffee, I have to go to Shady Acres to jump a truck, and load up the Big Dog with kitchen stuff for Shady Acres 2.0. Then some family will be here, and then it’s time to move the big and heavy stuff. Hopefully that won’t take more than a trip or two. But first, a moment of zen. I feel like I’m up early, but I’m needed to be, today. I have to pop up to the old Shady Acres, and grab what my mom packed yesterday. So that shouldn’t be too bad. I’ll probably go after nine. That way I’ll still have time… Read More
