I did it. I got off the pot? Shawshank, April 24, 2023April 24, 2023 No, not that pot. I got off the video game pot, and completed BotW. Yes, that’s right, I BEAT MY FIRST EVER VIDEO GAME. Next up, getting paid to stream playing games on twitch. I need a gaming chair, a headband, and an energy drink sponsor. It took about an hour and a half for the two battles. Probably closer to 2 hours, by just minutes. The first one was wicked intense, but finally, I managed to get through it. Half of it was my kinda game – brute force and ignorance, the other half is all Crystal. Strategy, and cunning. The second battle was a lot tougher. But you don’t want my review of a game that came out in 2017. And if you’ve been on my site for any length of time, you know I’m not a wordsmith. You’re here for the pictures. So here you go! Lockup Library Video Games Continuing on with No Man’s Sky January 7, 2024 It’s been a while since I’ve posted about No Man’s Sky. I actually uploaded these pictures, probably about 3ish weeks ago, and them promptly forgot to post the next time we went over to Shandy Acres for Sunday dinner. So yeah, this is my current ship. Lockup Library Video Games Persona 5 Royal review January 26, 2025 So last week or the week before, I beat another game. About a month or two earlier, Crystal was watching a SwitchUp video on YouTube, and they were talking about JRPGs, and mentioned that Persona 5 Royal had been released on the Switch for a while. And said if you… Read More
Hello, people. We’ve hit the real start of the week, Tuesday. The forecast for the day is sunny and warmer, which is great. Maybe, with the a little luck and (a lot of) effort, I’ll fucking go outside for some spin time. I was wrong about yesterday. My plan to stay in jammies was foiled around brunch time, when I remembered that we had dinner plans with his parents. I assumed a human form while Shawshank beat BotW. When I finished, he handed the controller to me and I played for a bit. At some point, I even put on clothes. The local Lions Club put on a fish fry dinner last night. Shawshank‘s mom texted a few times, keeping us up to date on what time to pick her up. The food was decent, and I ate a lot of fries. We chatted with someone local for a little while, which meant I had to flub my way through my favorite small talk question, “What are you doing with yourself all day?” I think aside from the recent Ukranian refugees, his family is probably the newest in town, and they’ve been here for 8 years now. I think I could recognize maybe 3 residents, and I feel like I’m the town oddity. At one point I asked Shawshank to grab me a drink when he went because I didn’t want to have to talk to people- a major risk if I went up on my own. Shawshank is back at work today. I’m going to condition my hair this morning, so it can dry all day. I’m going to assume a human form and get the sewing machine running. Reply
