Home Video – The Hunger Games Shawshank, April 12, 2021 So, this week, instead of reading, I watched a trilogy in 4 parts. That’s right, movie nerds, I watched The Hunger Games. Based on a bestselling trilogy of books by Suzanne Collins, we’re transported to the world of Panem. I won’t get into the whole history of the Hunger Games. Y’all have read the books by now. I know it’s been years since I’ve read them. I was introduced to them, when a tropical storm hit Rhode Island, and we lost power for like a week. In my opinion, the first book was really really good. Then it went down hill from there. But I digress. I’m not here to talk about the book series. I’m here to talk about the dumpster fire that is the film series. JLaw, in my opinion, cannot act her way out of a wet paper bag. She’s terrible. I think a wet labradoodle could have been a better Katnis Everdeen. I went through the whole series ( I’m on the last movie as I type this), with no emotional investment in any of the characters. Are the books better than the movies? Or the other way around? I don’t think I have an answer for that. Your thoughts? Tiny Town Home Video blogbloggerDVDjournalmoviesNetflixpersonal blogTV

Ok, shower time. I 🫀 you. Read More
Tiny Town Home Video Home Video – John Wick 3 June 13, 2021June 13, 2021 I watch, so you don’t have to. This weeks submission is John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum. Wow. What a shit show. Now the first one had a story line. It was fresh and new, and brought a new way to tell a good, violent popcorn flick. I don’t remember the second one at all. To… Read More
Tiny Town Home Video X-Files – Pilot January 2, 2021 I ran to the store to get a back of chips. Before I left, Shady Acres was going to stay awake. The plan was to watch a movie. When I got back, the house was sleeping. I didn’t want to start a movie, because I know that’s when they’d all wake up, and I’d probably… Read More
