Hang tight honey I’m a white line running down a dream on a long-lost highway

Shawshank, June 6, 2026

Good afternoon. I was up again early for work. I woke up, awake, at 4am this morning. I was able to sleep/doze until 4:30, when I said, fuck it. Might as well start the day.

And thus, the day started.

I got to work and did the extra duties for a Saturday morning, and opened the store without any problems. It was slow until about 10, then slowly the town woke up, and decided to get snacks and gas. Other than that, it was wicked slow.

After work, I picked up Crystal and we took some pictures of some storm clouds, then went to the second hand store to see what wares they had for offer.

Nothing. They had nothing that jumped out at me. Or Crystal for that matter. So we came back home. Now she’s playing Civ on the switch, and I have no idea what I want to do. I want to nap, but when I nap in the afternoons, I wake up in a bad mood, so I probably won’t do that.

Back to work all day tomorrow. It should be a good day. I told my co-worker that I’ll do my best to get us out faster than last Sunday, where they got out at 7:30. We close at 6 on Sundays.

Good morning everyone. Welcome to Wednesday. The most useless day of the week, aside from Thursday, but that’s a post for another day. It’s currently sunny out. But my weather app says it’s supposed to be cloudy all day. The snow is still here, but should be making a hasty…

I’m awake. The sun is slowly rising. It’s a little gray out there. But according to the weather app, it’s supposed to be, after a little rain, which I’ll doubt we’ll have, sunny and 80° out there today. It’s a perfect day for brunch later on this morning. I went…
