Deep down in the holler, pick the tallest pine dig it real deep where the roots touch mine Shawshank, November 7, 2025 Good chilly morning. Podrick was a good boy this morning, and to me, felt like he was sucking crystals fingers mere inches from my ear. It was loud. I rolled out of bed, and closed the door behind me. I opened the curtains and got the kittens breakfast ready. I put a bowl down for Podrick, and carried a plate of breakfast and put Pippin on the bed, and put her plate on the bed in front of her and slipped back out, closing the door behind me. I got dressed, and opened the curtains, and did the usual morning stuff, letting Pippin chow down. Once she was finished, I opened the door and gave Podrick what she didn’t finish. One more shift. One more shift, and I have two days off. I know Sunday, I’ll be over at Shady Acres to finish getting the pellet stove cleaned and prepped. I have to change the door seal, I think I have to clean it (yay), and then we should be able to fill it, and light it, and get some more heat in my parents house. So, I’ll probably end up doing laundry some time tomorrow. It’s supposed to be even colder tomorrow, so we don’t plan on leaving the house. Currently it’s 22°, but feels like 13°. That’s pretty nasty. Winter is coming. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningsTinyTown

Life Talking about cars and dreaming about women never had a plan just a living for the minute August 2, 2025 THE WEEKEND IS HERE Podrick started early this morning. So I got up and removed him from the bedroom, closing the door behind him. But don’t worry, dear readers, he made his own fun out in the living room. I have a large Medieval Times mug that has bottle caps… Read More
