‘Cause you make the darkness seem so far

Good morning my friends. Welcome to the day of chores – Sunday. I fell asleep pretty quickly last night, but my sinuses had different ideas. I was pretty stuffed up through the night. So I was pretty tossy turny. Pippin tried to snuggle she kept flip flopping, just as much as I was.

Yesterday, I drove the half hour to SlightlyBiggerTown to do some grocery shopping. I got there and quickly checked out the little antique store, and then I got something to eat. From there I made a quick drug deal, and then it was grocery time. I found just about everything that was on the list, and made the drive back to TinyTown.

After unloading, and putting away the groceries. I settled in to find something pretty awesome to watch. Something light, and funny. Something that I didn’t have to think too hard while I watched.

First up, I watched Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. It’s been a while since I watched it. I laughed, and decided that it has not diminished in time. Classic Ferrell movie. After that, I wanted to keep going, so I found Step Brothers. Again, amazing.

Oh, the fucking Catalina Wine Mixer. It just never disappoints.

Omg. It’s just as good as I remembered it. Classic gangster flick. Every actor, in my opinion, was perfectly cast. I couldn’t picture any other actor playing any of the roles.

Then, I was feeling cocky, and decided to find a movie I hadn’t seen in a long long time. I’ve searched for it in the past, and just couldn’t find it to stream for free. Yesterday evening, I found it. A hit from the year 2000.

Snatch.

Do you know what “nemesis” means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an ‘orrible cunt… me. Brick Top, Snatch

But now I need more coffee. Happy Sunday everyone!
