Way down yonder on the Chattahoochee

Well I lived through another wine n design night. Didn’t get home until shortly after 10. Gulped down 15mg of melatonin, and chatted with Crystal for about 25-35 minutes. I guess it didn’t take long for the ‘tonin to kick in, i think i was out around 10:50. Then very quickly up at 5, worried about time. But went right back to sleep.

I have a headache. I hope the combination of Advil and coffee will help with that.

Today is the day in the Province, where if you’re in any business in the province you must wear a mask. I haven’t really worn a mask other than like 10-15 minutes in a Walmart.

That’s all I got this morning. I hope everyone has a good Thursday.

Felt it in my hips – so I dipped back to my bag of tricks

Yesterday was good. The boss was getting her hair did, so we cleaned the shop, front and back. It shines in there now. I’ll be getting extra hours today, because we’re having another design night. So hopefully my first check will look pretty good.

So I get home last night and turn the TV to do my Duolingo German lesson, and Murder, She Write comes on. And I had a quick thought:

Do you think that Jessica Fletcher was a serial killer?

I’ll let you think about that for a while.

He never hit the brakes when he was shifting gears

It’s dark out there. Like pitch black. And I’m awake. Coffee is brewing, and I’m just waiting for it. I slept pretty good until 6:14, when I think I was nervous about not hearing my alarm. So I was tossy turny. I did notice when I got up one of my blankets was on the ground. No wonder why I was chilly this morning.

Quick question; will weighted blankets help tossing and turning?

This is my first full week of work. I’m still very nervous, but excited. I really hope I can do everything. I need to save the money for when Crystal gets here.

Speaking of books, this isn’t a book haul or anything like that. Talking with Crystal last night. I said I found THE book. I don’t have to buy anymore books. That’s it, I’m done. I present to you

Good morning, happy Monday y’all! We made it! Another glorious work week is now in front of us!

It’ll be a somewhat slow morning. I do have an appointment to set up a bank account here at the local credit union, so I can get paid at work, because they only do direct deposit.

Then after lunch it’ll be time to go to SlightlyBiggerTown to do some grocery shopping. I should be able to stop by the second hand store to see if they have any good books.

But for now, it’s the local (TotallyBiggerCity – 2 hours away) networks morning show.

Well I went today – maybe I’ll go again tomorrow

It looks like is going to be a gray day out there. That’s ok, because I don’t plan on going outside today.

Good morning, happy Sunday! Hope everyone is enjoying the day so far.

I was a busy little beaver yesterday. I helped my dad take down a wall in the basement, and a half wall in the kitchen. It looks pretty good, and the air movement from the pellet stove in the basement is a lot better now.

I also did a lot of book blog work here on the site. I may do some more today. We’ll see how much effort I want to put in to it today! I do know there will be a book club today.

And, I managed to get some reading in yesterday as well! Like I said, I was a busy beaver yesterday.

I like big books, and I cannot lie.
