It’s a cool breezy day outside. Pippin was cold in the night and tried her hardest to sleep on my neck. It would’ve worked but she was using her little kitten claws and it hurt. She ended up under the top layer of covers by my feet.

Anyways, with the breeze, the blinds were quietly banging in the kitchen, just loud enough to be heard over the fan in the bedroom. That in turn, woke me up 5 minutes before my alarm went off. So here I am.

And the days go by, like a strand in the wind

Good morning!! Happy Friday! We’re almost there! From what I can tell, a pretty big storm blew through here while I slept last night. I had to cut a leaf off of mr banana. But otherwise we made it through.

Other than getting up once or twice in the night I slept like a log. I believe Pippin slept beside me most of the night. And this morning before the alarm went off, she was under the covers with me curled up.

She’s eaten now and again is curled up in my lap, purring.

Only today and a short shift stands between me and the weekend. I got Crystal’s care package of wonderfullness yesterday, and it included a painting of a building here in town. After dinner, I took it over and knocked on the door of the people that own it.

I explained who I am and told them that my wife was up here in December and fell in love with the building and painted it for them. She was so happy to get the painting, and said next time she’s here to come over and she’ll give us a tour.

She’s a very nice lady. And I think that Crystal made her day.

But now I have to mainline some coffee and wake up. Yay Friday!

Good morning. It’s gonna be a hot one out there today. I know this, because it’s already a warm morning out.

Remind me later to grab the wasp spray from work. I have a bit of a problem going on outside my back door. Yesterday, there was one or two angrily buzzing out there. Now there’s about 6 of the little fuckers swarming around. I don’t want Pippin or I to be stung.

Yesterday was to be expected work wise. It was a hectic morning, but it got better towards the afternoon. By the end of the day, it truly was the end of the day.

But now it’s coffee time! We’re almost to the weekend, we can do it!

Pass the Dutchie ‘pon the left hand side

It’s bright, and sunny, and supposed to be warm outside today. Finally, I’m wearing shorts first thing. I’ll just have to remember to turn the fans on today when I leave for work.

I slept like a log, except when I was waking up to go to the bathroom. Each time, Pippin was playing with her laser. Never even heard her! That’s awesome!

Right now, coffee and trying to focus my eyes. Let’s get the day started!
