But we were learnin’ on a sweet buzz

It’s a little chilly out there. I hope that the wind will die down before work, but it’s winter here still so I doubt the wind will stop. But it is bright and sunny out there. We should barely get above freezing today. And I just checked, the wind will be with us until around 7.

Another closing shift tonight, then surprise, an opening shift. The guy I’m closing with tonight, is the co-worker that I’ll be working with tomorrow morning. I was off my game just a little last night, timing wise, so we didn’t get out 3 minutes after we closed. I used just about all the 15 minutes. But we still got out pretty quickly.

Winter truly has its claws into the region. There’s snow expected for Sunday and Monday. But that forecast has been bouncing around. Earlier this week that snow was supposed to be yesterday and today, and we were expecting 5-6 inches. Now it’s less than an inch – if we even get any.

Two days ago, it was 72°.

Today is a high of 33°.

So let’s scream at the top of our lungs: WHAT’S GOING ON?
