Book club – Plain Bad Heroines Shawshank, February 14, 2021 Hey book nerds! We’re still talking about Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth. We’re at the half way point in the book, and if you’re like me while reading, you totally are getting sucked in as soon as you open the book. It makes it very hard to put it down when you want to go and do something else. It’s still a very slow burn, which is what I really am liking about this. I’m thinking that it’s going to be like a rollercoaster cresting the top, and getting over the hump. I think it’s going to go by in a flash. I can and can’t wait for it. When I get to the middle of a book, I start to get a little anxiety about finishing it. Not because I want it to end, but because the book is almost over. Then the anxiety of choosing the next book. I really like the writing style of Mrs Danforth. It’s so meta, and really self aware. What do you guys like about the book? Any questions about it? Be sure to put them in a comment, and I’ll try to answer them. Until next time, book nerds! Lockup Library Book Club blogbloggerbookbook bloggerbook clubbook loverbooksjournaltalking about books
