Biggie, Biggie, Biggie, can’t you see? Sometimes your words just hypnotize me Shawshank, August 25, 2025 Fuck I was up early – even before the alarm went off. My eyes opened at 4am. My sleep mask, gone, I rolled out of bed as quietly as possible. I got up and fed Pippin and Podrick, standing beside them as they ate. When Pippin was done, I gave Pod that last of her food as well. I took Pippin into the bedroom so she could snuggle Crystal. She wasn’t having that, so I let her out again. I get to work and open up. I’m turning lights on, and see that the slurpee machine has overflowed the drip trays onto the floor. I start to clean the counter and the floor as my coworker actually did the store opening and paperwork. Work wasn’t busy, or slow. I wouldn’t even call it steady, but we took care of the people that came in. And we cleaned. I cleaned for about 4 hours, before I couldn’t clean anymore. Then, I just looked busy. It started to get a little busier towards the end of the shift, but that’s when our replacements come in, and we got the heck out of there. I stopped at the post office, and picked up the mail for my parents, and dropped it off, happy that they were napping. In and out. Home now, watching today’s RAW from Birmingham, England. Poutine for dinner. Weed for desert. It’s a good day. Life blogbloggercoffeejournalmorningsTinyTownup early

Not that I had a bad sleep. Not at all. I closed my eyes, and the next thing I know, the alarm is going off. But it’s back to work… Read More
Life So I settled for a burger and a grape snow cone September 18, 2023 I’m awake. The sun is slowly rising. It’s a little gray out there. But according to the weather app, it’s supposed to be, after a little rain, which I’ll doubt we’ll have, sunny and 80° out there today. It’s a perfect day for brunch later on this morning. I went… Read More
Life When I’m eastbound and down and I can’t help but cry ’cause I-40 gets lonelier with every mile October 29, 2025 Oh yes! Podrick was a perfect gentleman this morning. He only jumped up on the night table once, and bolted as soon as I got out of bed. So I quietly closed the bedroom door, and climbed back into bed for another 45 minutes. Only when I was meant to… Read More
