Benz in the driveway, yacht in the water Vegas, at the Mandarin, high roller gamblin’

It’s bright and sunny now, but when I rolled out of bed, it was completely different. There was lots of fog, and it was chilly as I drove in this morning.

But long story short,(too late!)

Opened the store, helped customers, talked more than I’m used to, I did some cleaning, but was mostly just a cashier. I did manage to put in $50 worth of diesel in the big dog truck before the price went up. So that’s a good thing. I like the big truck for simply one thing: heated steering wheel!

Then I got a text from my mom saying that she had packed some boxes, if I could stop by after work, or if I wanted to pick her up around 3 or 4 and she’d help me. I went right over after work, because once I sit, I ain’t getting back up. So I got all the boxes and a couple of tables into the new Shady Acres, and turned the truck around, and went home – across the street.

Mid shift Tuesday and Wednesday. Least I don’t have to get up at 4:30. Six will be just fine.
