It is bright out there. Very bright. And so far, warm out there. I opened the window for the kittens. Both kittens are sitting on the table looking out the window.

The coffee has been brewed and we’re quietly consuming. Dateline is playing on TV. Soon, chores will start. I’ll be helping Crystal with her hair this morning as well. So that’ll be fun and interesting, as I’ve never helped with loc maintenance.

Yesterday was a pretty nice day. Just gray. It was nicely warm, but today, not a cloud in the sky, and the sun is very warm. It should be a nice day out there.

We popped over to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries, and other random stuffs. It was a nice day for a drive. I think we were in and out in our usual time.

So, let’s get our coffee on, and enjoy this beautiful morning. Happy Sunday, y’all!

Good Saturday morning, all you party people! Yep, that’s right- it’s the weekend! All of us are awake, some are stalking around the Flat. Pippin is begging us to open the back door, so she can lord over the land. She just doesn’t understand that we don’t have a fur coat on. And it’s still a little chilly out there. She’s currently looking out the front window.

It’ll have to do for a little while.

I slept like the dead last night. I really don’t think I moved from my original position until a couple of minutes before the alarm went off. Thankfully, I remembered to reset the alarm before going to sleep. I really didn’t want the alarm going off at 4:30.

Not too much on deck for today. We do have to travel into SlightlyBiggerTown for supplies. And possibly some Subway for lunch. That’s later on in the morning that we’ll do that.

Right now, it’s coffee time.

Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash

Spoiler alert: it was a day.

So I walk in to work at 5:30 this morning, and read on the front door that the debit machine is down. No biggie, it should be working now, right?

Nope. We should be getting a new debit machine by Monday, at the earliest. So yeah, we’re 100% cash only. That’s going over well.

But, I don’t really care. I have the weekend off. Monday is for future Shawshank to deal with. So I walked out of there as quickly as I could.

Last night, I got a text from the old BossLady asking for help with her Mailchimp. She wants to send out one more post with all of her auction info on it. I thought I was just going to go and quickly show her how to do it. I was wrong. I told her I didn’t have a lot of time, but I would do what I could for her.

She ended up having to take some customers to show some auction stuff, so I took that as my cue to get the heck out of there. All she has to do is simply follow some prompts and the. It’ll be sent. I believe I’m still on the mailing list so I’ll know when it gets sent.

Good times.

I’m home now, and I’m going to ignore any text messages from her. I’ve done my tour there! The last mailing will be up to her to finish.

It’s date night tonight. I should quickly email the cook and see if they’re open tonight. If so, I have to figure out what I want to eat. Do I feel like breakfast, or wings, or maybe even a clubhouse sandwich? It’ll be an adventure!

Hey hey people. I’m finally home now. I brought Crystal a couple of snacks – some blueberries, and some Italian bread with Italian dressing. She was very excited.

Work was slow, but we got stuff done today. All the sales tags went up, and all that good stuff. But mostly we just took care of the customers that came in.

Just another day and I’ll be off for the weekend. I can’t wait for it. I’m a little tired, so I’ll be… I totally forgot what I wanted to say to finish the sentence. I think that’s my cue to finish this post now.
