As sure as the stars shine above

With the Flat only being about 500sf, one would think that I wouldn’t lose anything in here, right? Well at 4:30 this morning, it was kind of chilly. So I looked for my hoodie. The hoodie that I definitely knew that I brought in yesterday after work. I just couldn’t find it for the life of me. So much so in fact, I walked out to the car to see if I misremembered it. It wasn’t in there. So I went back to searching. I finally found it on the bed, I put it there when I lifted up the cat nest off the floor.

With that, I was able to continue my morning. Coffee was consumed, and the early morning headlines were on the TV. I ate cereal, and headed to work.

Work was work. Wicked slow, so we cleaned. I’m tired of cleaning. It’s not even August, and we’re 80% the way through the cleaning list.

But I’m home from work now, and the heat has been turned on out there. The early morning fog has been burnt off, and the clouds are gone. It’s gonna be hot today and tomorrow. Last night was really nice, we could actually sleep under a blanket. Not tonight, I don’t think.

What’s for dinner?

A gin & tonic sounds might mighty good to me

Hello party peoples. It’s Tuesday, and it’s after 1pm, so you know what that means. An inconsequential update from yours truly. So yeah, hold on. You’ve paid for the whole seat, but you’ll only need half!

Wow, that’s a build up, if you ask me.

Don’t get your hopes up.

It’s all down hill from here.

So yeah, went to work this morning. The alarm woke me up, because I remembered to actually turn it on. It scared the crap out of me. I slipped out of bed with the face of a dog with a kong toy. I tumbled out of bed, and stumbled to the kitchen, where I ripped open the curtains.

Darkness.

What the hell? Where’s the sun and day light. I had to look at my phone to see that now, the sun doesn’t rise until after 5. Where has the summer gone?

It was Silent Hill outside, it was so froggy. That took hours to burn off.

Told ya it was all down hill now.

Now I’m home. I brought a frozen pizza for dinner, and milk and cereal for a snack to night, and for breakfasts for the mornings.

Chaucer has found his way up on to my lap, as it’s about 10-15 degrees cooler today. Pippin is in her nest on the bed. Again, it’s cooler. I gave her loves when I got home. The beautiful one is playing her monster game. Her character sounds like JoJo Siwa. Once you hear it, you can’t unhear it.

Just you and me in a truck bed wide like a California King

Well, the day started late. Yesterday, I was smart. I reset the alarm clock, so I wouldn’t have to worry about it when I fell into bed.

I forgot to turn it on.

I woke up at 4:20, and said, great! I have 10 more minutes of sleep.

The next time I woke up, it was 4:50.

So, at least I wasn’t late for work.

I bought chicken nuggets for dinner tonight. So we’re excited for that.

But this is gonna be it for the post today, I don’t have anything left to update y’all. So I’m outie 9000.

Boom!

Hang my head drown my fear till you all just disappear

Good morning, my friends. It’s hazy, hot, and humid. We slept in a little bit. Well, I slept in a little bit. It’ll be the last time for a week, cause I have opening shifts all next week. So the next time the alarm goes off, it’ll be at 4:30 in the morning. So I treated myself, and shut off the alarm for the weekend.

We didn’t do a whole lot yesterday. Looked at an “everything must go sale”. I played with a cat with a stumpy tail. There wasn’t anything that really jumped out at us. From there, just stopped at the tiny grocery for supplies for lunch, and then it was back home.

We just watched some tv and I actually played some video games. No Man’s Sky got an update – but it hasn’t filtered down to the Switch yet, so I fired up Tears of the Kingdom, where I went cave diving for a couple of hours, and then passed the controller to Crystal, so she could play for a little while.

We had a glorious bacon cheeseburger and fries for dinner. We just relaxed and were warm. We went to bed warm as well. Sometime in the night, I got up and used the bathroom. I took off my shirt and climbed under the top blanket, and went back to sleep.

Chaucer cosplayed as a DJ, and I got up and moved him from the floor beside the bed out to the hallway so he could perform the drop, and I was out again.

Now here we are; under an air advisory. It’s chore day. I’ll start in a few. Least the living room fan is drawing in some cool air right now. Happy Sunday y’all!
