Midnight, and I’m a-waitin’ on the twelve-oh-five

The Beautiful One let me sleep in. I was able to ignore Chaucer in full asshole mode this morning. Repeatedly. For a cat that never makes a sound sure loves to scream just as we go to sleep, and again when he thinks we should get up.

Good times.

Work was a little crazier than the last couple of days. It seems like suddenly everyone remembered that they haven’t been out the house for like 4 days and they knew the exact place they wanted to go. My store. We also had two deliveries arrive within a half hour of each other. So yeah it was a crazy afternoon.

But since I didn’t have Sunday off, I’ll be doing all Sundays tasks today. So here I come laundry! I’ve run out of my thicker socks. So it’ll be nice to get them back again.

So yeah relaxing day. Maybe I’ll try and fight the big boss in Persona 5. We’ll see. Let’s get chore day started!

And some more coffee please.

I really can’t stay baby, it’s cold outside

It was a tossy turny night last night. I just couldn’t really find a comfortable position. Then there was Chaucer singing as we were falling asleep. I’d like to hope that he eventually made it up on the bed. I don’t think it was up when I got up around 1ish to use the bathroom.

Work wasn’t too bad last night. It was a quiet night. We were expecting the Pepsi truck last night, but it never showed up. I’m sure that it’ll show up tonight either before or after the other truck that we’re expecting. Fun times.

I have Pippin snuggled up on my legs this morning. Chaucer has mountain climbed on to Crystal’s lap, so each kitty is very happy now. Pippin won’t be too happy when I get up in a couple minutes.

So yeah that’s the updates from north of the wall. Hopefully your Tuesday will be a great day, and time will move quickly.

Good morning everyone. It’s still dark outside, but the news is fresh, and the coffee is hot. We got Chaucer snuggled up in between us. It’s Monday morning, and I have the closing shift tonight.

Work yesterday wasn’t not bad at all. It wasn’t busy but the people that did come in we took care of and they left happy. The day passed pretty quickly, even though it was quiet. I think most sane people didn’t want to leave the house because it’s so cold out.

Thankfully though, we’re on a bit of a warm up right now. Which is much like here. It’ll be like an early spring! Not really, but it’ll feel like it for sure.

As you can tell from me waxing poetic about the weather, I don’t have anything new to convey to all y’all so I’m gonna wrap this up. Have a great Monday.

I’m awake. Well, I’ve been awake every couple of hours to make sure I still have time to sleep. I think that’s exactly what happened. The first time I got up was around 1am, then 3, 4, 6:10, 6:30, and then finally 6:57.

The alarm works. I just wish my subconscious would believe me when I say that. The alarm works. It went off, on time, just like it always does, when I allow it. I’m always up before the alarm, and it’s tiring.

But it’s a full day at work today. It’s not bad. We open at 10, and before you know it, it’s noon, and then you only have another 6 hours, which does actually go by quickly. So, it’ll be a very good day today.

Plus, when I finally get home tonight, it’s taco night. Woot woot! Taco night. I can’t wait! Happy Sunday y’all!
