Ain’t got no picture postcards, ain’t got no souvenirs

Good morning, my friends. Once again, it looks chilly, and gray out there this morning. Breezy too. Podrick been awake for a few hours, and has been bouncy around, chasing his tail on the bed for a while. I lost my mask in the night, and one of his claws made contact on my forehead. That’s when I got up, and started the coffee. He’s finally recovered from his busy Sunday, and is totes ready to be a kitten again. I have a feeling since he slept all Monday, we’ll be wired for the day. Hopefully he doesn’t go too crazy all day.

It’s been a really nice weekend off. Well two and a half days off to be closer to the truth. We really didn’t do a lot in the grand scheme of things. Sure, we went for groceries, and other supplies, but really we didn’t leave the house too much, and I’m ok with that. we ate amazing food all weekend, and we helped my mom out a lot.

I got a text from my mom yesterday afternoon – my dad is back in SlightlyBiggerTown from CapitalCity. His hip replacement surgery in the last couple of days, and is back, and will spend a couple of days where he is to get used to the physiotherapy, then he’ll be released and from there, we’re not too sure, but we’ll figure it out.

Back to work this afternoon. But before I kiss The Beautiful One goodbye, we have a couple of hours together. Coffee!
