Judge Dre presiding in the case of NWA versus the police department

Good morning. Hap hap happy Saturday. I’m up and dressed to go to work. My bed was so cozy and warm, I didn’t want to get up, step in to a cold flat. I actually turned the heat up to “take the edge off”.

So I get home, after talking the mail, and a package to Shady Acres, and I open my door, and there’s an envelope for the Census there. As Crystal says I’m officially official now. I answered the 10ish questions and hit submit.

I only have a season and a half left on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. You can definitely see the change after it left Fox, and NBC took over. It’s just a little less different, if you can understand that. It’s just slight changes that over the last 7 episodes. It’s less weird.

So a few hours at work, and I’m going to come home and try try try to finish Plain Bad Heroines. I’m so close to finishing it. I just need an hour or so, and I’ll be able to finish it. Fingers crossed.

But the coffee is ready, and I’m ready for some of that sweet sweet go go juice. I’m outie 9000.

Book club: Plain Bad Heroines

Hello book nerds! I feel so much better now that I’ve finally finished Plain Bad Heroines by Emily M. Danforth! It’s like some weight has been lifted off of me. I accomplished something the been literally months in the making.

It’s the journey, not the ending.

The ending was ok, it didn’t seem too rushed, like in the case of The Arctic Fury. But lemme tell you, that the last 15-20 pages felt like they just flew through my fingers.

This was a great book, it sucks you right in right from the beginning. I really liked it.

Tomorrow, dear book nerds, I’ll be posting an informal poll, to see which book I should read next. It’ll be easy – 3 books, and all you have to do is comment and tell me which one you want me to read first, second, and third.

Until tomorrow, nerds of the books!
