Yo yo. I’m here, and you better be ready for me. So what should we talk about today? Hmmm. Great question. I have no freakin idea. I was up wicked early, and now I’m home from work. I’m tired, but not tired enough to take a nap. Besides, it’s too late now.

Work was a little busier today. But not by much. We had a new employee training today, so was on the register a little more, then as he was training, I was outside a little bit. when it was time to leave, I made my purchase, and then skedaddled as quickly as I could.

It started out gray, then the sun came out to play for a little bit. And now we’re under yet another thunderstorm watch. It truly feels like spring outside. Hopefully, it becomes summer time soon.

Tonight, we’re having hot dogs for dinner. I remembered that we really need to use the hot dog buns before they get stale/moldy. So that’s exciting, huh?

Perhaps too exciting.

Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf

When I went down for my nap. It wasn’t as bright as this. It was gray, with just the hints of the sun coming out. The only thing that’s been consistent, is the wind.

It’s always the wind.

After a weekend of being able to sleep in, when the alarm went off this morning, a zombie climbed out of bed. A zombie turned on the coffee pot, and got dressed. When I made the coffee at work, I put out a pot of regular roast, and a pot of regular roast labeled as dark roast.

Oops.

Work was wicked slow. I knew it was gonna be a little slow, but I didn’t think it would be that slow. We went just over an hour without one single customer. Wow! So when second shift came in, I walked. I needed a nap.

That’s what we call a full circle moment.

I’ll see myself out. Happy Monday Tuesday and all that other happy horseshit.

Hey hey! Posting later and later these days. Well, I have a reason for this. I got out of work, had to head to Shady Acres to switch out vehicles. Which, by the way, I’m keeping until I go back over there tomorrow to work on the brakes, and oil change.

From there, I hit up the DMV. 2 person office, by the way. I had to make my yearly payment for my drivers license. With a roll of loonies. Then to the bank! I had to deposit some money from the yard sale. Then quickly to the post office to grab the weeks mail.

After that, off to SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries, and to refill the weed. There was a booth set up extolling the greatness of “local weed”. They had donuts. Both of us had a donut, then I bought us the carts, and we were back on the way to TinyTown.

It’s raining. Not hard (at times). My god it’s the end of June. Canada Day is literally days away, and I’m still wearing layers. This summer has started wicked slow. We’re expecting thunder storms on the first.

Good times.

Now we’re just watching some news before going out to the local restaurant for date night. It was a pretty good day. The rain held off until I was off work, so that’s always a good thing.

I am no longer a member of the all-dayer club. I had to take a nap when I got home. It wasn’t too bad of a nap. No kitties even came up to see if I was alive or not. Just me, the northern light machine, and the fan. Now, I have Chaucer on my lap, and he has a happy kitty face on right now.

There’s no wind outside right now. It’s raining. It’s been a pretty crappy June so far. It’s with been raining or blow you down windy. I think I could count on one hand the hot sunny days that we’ve had so far.

Work was wicked so today with a couple of time where it was cray cray. I had a whole bunch of YouTube videos to watch, but they weren’t up to the standard that Crystal expects, so I deleted them. Maybe tomorrow will have better videos.

Only one more shift until the weekend. I can’t wait. The week has gone relatively quickly, but I’m tired, and I want to be able to sleep in a little. Maybe on Sunday I will.

Tomorrow; groceries after work. Then to the restaurant for date night. I haven’t been a good date. As I’m old and can never get enough rest to not be tired all the time. Welcome to your late 40s, I guess.

Now you make the scene all day

I’m home. It’s sunny and very nice out. Again, I’ll try not to nap. It’s been nice the last couple of days not napping. But it’s hard, because I’m almost falling asleep on the couch. But I have YouTube shorts to watch after I post this.

Work was wicked slow this morning, but we got what we needed done, and the late morning was ours to do as little or as a lot. It was our choice. Noice.

Only a couple of more days until the weekend. I can’t wait. Course, on Saturday I’ll be up to my elbows trying to put pads and rotors on the Hot Mess, so that’ll be something. I’ll be supervised while I work on it.

Now to relax. Hot dogs for dinner tonight. Yay!
